he saw her move on, very slowly but she moved on. he saw the therapists tell her that her mind made up this imaginary guy to cure herself. and she believed it.
one day, her mother had gotten a phone call and he saw her mother excuse herself and go into a separate room.
he watched her strum her guitar strings, reminding him of all the times he helped her during a thunderstorm by singing to her.
after the phone call, her mother walked in. pale as a ghost. she explained the phone call to her daughter.
she gasped, almost dropping her guitar. her mother nodded with a sad look on her face. she then excused herself to run some errands.
he then realized she knew his secret. he cussed himself out as he saw her run into the bathroom. he saw her choke out sobs as she grabbed her anxiety pill bottle. usually, he would stop this, but not this time.
he realized if she died, they could be together again. he saw her cry and swallow the pills. and when she collapsed on her bed, he whispered three words and eight letters, "i love you." is all he said.
then, he saw her fade. then, almost as if on cue, he heard a lightning struck hit and when he looked back at her,. he saw her dead. pale and dead.
and that was the story of how taylor died.
