Unforgiving Illness

My words are hollow.

I attempt to shine a smile,

But my mouth doesn't follow.

I'm empty and numb inside.

I shed a tear, then another,

Feeling more dead than ever.

Hating, frustrated, disappointed.

Yet showing no sign of struggle.

I live as a zombie,

Getting up unwillingly.

Working on a single mission;

To pass this depression.

Although writing a lot today, this is actually a pretty old one, I'm not even sure when...

I do believe it was inspired from the song "Numb Little Bug"
