A Second Chance

Chapter 4

-Jackson's POV-

I felt so impatient right now, this girl doesn't even know how crazy she's making me.

But I'll be patient since she said to and I want her to tell me obviously so I won't keep asking her, well I might.

I want to put my arm around her so badly, but I won't, I really don't want to ruin this moment.

2 hours pass by and it's 7 now, the movie is over, and our moms are still gone.

Julia is laying or sleeping on my shoulder I can't really tell, but I couldn't be happier.

I go on my phone for a bit as the twins go and play with their toys.

Julia wakes up slowly, please don't get off.

She gets off my shoulder and says "what the hell when did I sleep"

I say "like 15 minutes after the movie started I didn't want to wake you up" i say.

She says "You should've"

Oh okay.

I get up once I see someone is calling me, it's Noah?

"Hey I know this is last minute but once the moms get home do you want to go to this sick house party it sounds cool" I had nothing better to do so I just say "yeah I'm down I'll pick you up when they come" he says bye to me and I hang up.

Turns out Julia was going too because I overheard her talking to Natalie and Gracie.

I checked the time and it was already 8 we had to put the twins to sleep like right now.

"Hey Julia we need to put the twins to sleep like now" she hums in response and gets up.

I go to their room and see them playing with their toys.

"Hey Mia and Marcus it's bedtime get up" i say and Julia gets their pajamas out of the drawers.

They get dressed and she tells them to go brush their teeth.

Once Mia comes back Julia braids her hair and I just look at her in admiration.

She would make such a good mother.

Sigh.

We both heard the doorbell ring.

I went downstairs to go open it.

It was my mom, dad and , Isobel, Julia's mom.

"You guys took so long to come back" i say

"Are the kids asleep?" My dad asks and Julia comes downstairs and says.

"Yeah, I just put them to sleep right now" she smiles at my parents

"Oh thank you so much" my mom hugs her.

They all go to the couch and sit down.

I turned to Julia "hey um are you going to that party tonight" i already knew she was going I just wanted to talk to her so badly.

"Yeah, you?" She says

"Yeah, want me to take you?" I ask.

"Uhhh sure" she hesitates.

"Alright" i go upstairs and put some cologne on and grab my phone and keys.

I went downstairs and we both went inside the car.

I hated this tension.

I put some music on and went to go pick up Luca and Noah.

We arrived to Lucas house and I called them.
