 Hey guys, I'm back again with a new chapter, as I promised, I am updating weekly, but I had some work to this week, and I didn't get time to write a new chapter until now. If I get enough time, I will publish again on the coming Tuesday. Thanks for all the support, and let's get to it!!

Continuing from the last chapter...

~~~~~Serena's pov~~~~~
"That son of a ugh. I'm texting Emily. Seems like he has caused some damage." I said, with a sigh. "He-he got some of my employees to revolt against me. I texted my mother, the previous CEO. After she handed the company over to me, she became the Vice President of the entire company and she helps me manage stuff often."
"My mother did the same with me. She is also the Vice President of my company. She helps me manage a lot, since I love to travel a lot. But a lot of problems need to be solved by the CEO directly, without passing through another person."
"Yeah, that's right. This situation is also very risky, since it seems that the chairman has caused problems for me. The main board stands with me. But a company cannot survive if the employees that do all the work don't agree with the high-ranking people."
After sitting down together to eat, Ash and I explained everything to our friends. We all knew that this was a horrible situation, because if everything went Carson's way, I would lose control of my company. I had a feeling Carson had more tricks up his sleeve. My friends gave me their eternal support, and we all agreed to help each other out in the future.
The day after my huge argument with Carson, I woke up with a sick feeling in my stomach. I knew something was going to go wrong. Before I had hung up, Carson has said that I would regret my decision. I knew then that something else was at play here.
I also knew that Carson had tipped off the media about me, and everyone knew I had fired him. Carson had always had some kind of marketing magic, I had to admit. He knew how to manage the stocks well, even if he chose a stock that usually did really bad, when he chose it, it happened to do well. Many people believed that I had lost someone who was really smart for the company. Emily and I met before leaving my place to go to the company, and we agreed to do an interview with a popular news site to clear up the situation and explain my choices.
After making a couple phone calls in the morning, Ash decided to accompany me today before leaving early at 6 tomorrow to Kanto to manage his company. As soon as I walked out of the car with Ash and Clemont walking behind me to my right, Bonnie and Emily walking behind me to my left, the paparazzi immediately fired their questions. My company's security kept the paparazzi from touching me as I kept a straight face and cat-walked through the sliding doors, scanning my ID card on the card reader that allowed me into the building.
The entire day, I had to deal with employee revolts and firing many employees who tried to hurt me, even going up to the point that I had to split our security team up to keep an eye on my office and the employees. Later that night, my friends and I attended the interview together, to support each other. The interviewer did the usual introductions, and asked some personal questions for each one of us to answer, such as Clemont's gym goal, Bonnie's career path, Ash's monarch duties, and my duties as Kalos Queen and Top Coordinator. Then it was time for the most important question.
"Your company's former chairman, Serena, seems to have upset your company's employees and tipped off the media. What are your thoughts on this. What are your reasons?" The interviewer asked.
"I fired Carson because he was trying to control my personal life. He tried to get me to get into a relationship with Liam because he owes Liam's father a lot of money. Before I hung up after I fired him, he said I would regret my decision. I don't regret it. But he has caused me quite some trouble. I have the evidence of the call right here, I have a way to record and save all my calls just in case an emergency happens." I said, playing the recording of the call, and the truth was revealed.
"I can back that up. I was there when the call took place, and I was there when Liam was forcefully grabbing Serena. I stopped him." Ash said, holding my hand for comfort.
"May I ask why you don't want to give Liam a chance?"
"It's because...I don't have feelings for him, and I can't force myself to have feelings for him."
"I see, well then, thanks for your time, this will clear up a lot of misunderstandings."
"Thank you for having me," I said, as my friends and I each got up to shake the interviewer's hand.
~~~~~Ash's pov~~~~~

The next day, I took off in my jet for Kanto early in the morning, using Serena's lading pads. It was really handy feature in her place, and I got my team to get two landing pads at my place too, which was all ready and installed already, so I could land at my house. After dropping my things off in my room, I greeted my mom before I got in my car and drove off to my company building.

Things were currently a mess. Due to bad investments, our company was facing huge losses. Charlie told me that none of the investments had been discussed with him, so he wouldn't know to tell me. There were also a lot of new partnerships with a lot of other companies that just seemed to randomly appear, with my signature on it, even though I wasn't even in Kanto at the time. I knew someone had broken into my office, but that person had somehow hacked the security system as well, since the cameras were off at certain times, probably when that person broke into my office.

It was obvious that this person had to be one of my employees. My employees had a company uniform. Someone wearing something else would stick out like a sore thumb. I never gave my employees their uniform until they signed a loyalty form, that I had copies of on my laptop and in USBs, as well as a paper copy. The security I had in my company was very tight, and the chances of someone being able to break in is literally zero. That is, unless we had a traitor in our company, most likely one of my security guards. Still, chances of this criminal being an outsider is very slim.

I had just finshed tidying up my office and exchanging the lock with a very secure lock that would only let people in if they knew the code, had my ID, and were able to pass a scan of my fingerprint and eye. I decided to sit down on the office chair and turned it away from the door to face the big window, where I could see the beautiful view of Kanto. My thoughts were racing around like crazy as I stared out at the gorgeous view I could never get bored of. I decided to get back to work, and I started typing on my laptop, as my thoughts continued to race.

Charlie knocked on the door of my office. "Sir, may I come in? We have a big emergency, we need to take care of this immediately."

"Yes, of course, Charlie." I said as I sighed and signaled to the chair on the other side of my desk, and he sat down, before handing me a tablet. I as I read through the article, I felt my blood rushing, and then turn cold.

I slammed my palm on my desk as I stood up, outraged. Charlie looked at me for instructions.

"Organize a meeting in exactly 30 minutes. Report to the press right away. I want an interview today with all the board executives and members. We will get to the bottom of this." I said, furious.

Charlie nodded at me before taking the tablet back and shutting my office door behind him. I immediately searched up the exact article online, and saw that there were many other articles covering the same topic. I viewed them all, and watched the video that came with one of the articles, as my blood boiled.
