Janet POV
"Please turn in your essay tonight it is due at 11:59. Not 12:00, Not 12:01. 11:59" professors Brown spoke. I was happy that today was our last day before break. Well thanksgiving break.
"Okay class is over enjoy your break." Walking out the class I spotted Jayden.
"Janet" he yelled. I waved and kept walking but he followed. "What's sup what you can't talk to me now?" He wrapped his arm around me but I quickly moved.
"I waved that's good enough." I walked a bit faster.
"Damn alright be like that." I rolled my eyes and headed to my car. I don't understand why he insisted on flirting with me. He followed me on instagram a couple of weeks ago I know he see Toni all over it. I'm never letting up on her. Getting into my car I pulled out of the parking lot heading home.
Pulling up to the house I see Toni truck wasn't in the driveway. I walked into the house and sat my bags down on the bench by the door. My phone dinged. It was a message from Toni.
'Hey baby I'm at the grocery store I'll be there shortly💗'
I hearted the message and sat my phone back down. I walked upstairs stripping out of those outside clothes. I walked in the bathroom and started the shower. After my quick shower I slipped on a nightgown and walked downstairs into the kitchen. I seen Toni had cleaned it. I washed my hands before opening the fridge pulling out some leftovers from last night. Toni made steak cubes, mash potatoes and broccoli. Putting it in the microwave for two minutes.
I heard the front door open. "Baby!" Toni yelled.
"In the kitchen love." She came in with bags from the grocery store. Walking over to me she puckered her lips. I pecked them three times.
"Come on man, stop playing." I grabbed her chin giving her a real kiss."How was class?" She started pulling the stuff out the bags.
"It was good I got an essay to write tho. It's due by 11:59" I grabbed my plate out the microwave only to have to put it back in cause it was a bit cold in certain spots.
"You need help or anything?" Sometimes I have Toni help me with my homework and sometimes she does it for me. Don't let the gangster fool you Toni is street smart and book smart.
"No baby I got it." She nodded. My food beeped and I took it out the microwave. "So are we still going to Ms ada for thanksgiving?" Last week Ms Ada called and asked if we will be attending. Toni hasn't really talked to them since they brought up her mom.
"Yeah we can go. Are we gonna stop by your parents?"
"No." My mom still hasn't apologized for saying those rude comments about Toni.
"Okay. "I placed my plate in the sink. "I'll wash it. Go get started on your essay." I nodded. I went to walk towards the living room but was stopped. "I can't get a kiss." I laughed. Toni is so clingy it doesn't make no sense but I love it I wouldn't want it any other way. I pecked her lips before walking into the living room.
Pulling out my laptop and I pad. I turned a different world on the tv. Call me crazy but I like hearing noise when I'm doing homework or studying it can't be too quiet or I'll get bored.
