As Sonakshi's train chugged closer and closer to Mussoorie, her heart raced with excitement. It had been seven long years since she had left her hometown to pursue her dreams of becoming a doctor, and now, finally, she was returning as a qualified MBBS and MD. She couldn't wait to see her family, her friends, and most of all, her best friend Devashish, whom she lovingly called Panda.
Flashback
"Keep this guitar as my farewell gift,Panda" said Sonakshi giving a teal guitar to Dev.
"And you keep this stethoscope and white coat as my farewell gift, Muse" replied Dev coldly.
"Will you wait for me?" asked Sonakshi hugging her best friend.
"Forever on the same old town road,even if you don't say yes after 7 years" replied Dev hugging her tightly.

But as she stepped off the train and made her way towards her home, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Her family seemed to be hiding something from her, their smiles strained and their eyes avoiding hers. It was as if a heavy cloud hung over their heads, casting a shadow over what should have been a joyous reunion.
"Welcome home, beta," her mother Asha greeted her, a forced smile on her face. "How was your journey?"
Sonakshi felt a pang of unease at her mother's tone, but she pushed it aside, eager to see her father and brother. But when she finally saw them, their expressions mirrored her mother's - guarded, distant.
"Something is not right," she thought to herself, her excitement waning as a sense of foreboding took hold of her. She decided to confront her family about their odd behavior and get to the bottom of what they were hiding from her.
"Mom, Dad, Bhai, what's going on? Why are you all acting so strange?" Sonakshi asked, her voice filled with concern.
Her father Bejoy let out a deep sigh before speaking. "Sonakshi, there's something we need to tell you about Panda and his family."
Sonakshi's heart skipped a beat. Her mind raced with worry as she tried to comprehend what her family was about to reveal. Panda had always been her closest friend, a constant presence in her life since childhood. She couldn't fathom what could have happened in her absence.
Her brother Sourabh spoke up next, his voice tinged with sadness. "Dev's family has been going through some tough times, Sonakshi. They've been facing financial difficulties and health issues. They didn't want us to burden you with their problems while you were away studying."
Tears welled up in Sonakshi's eyes as she processed the news. She felt a surge of guilt for not being there for Panda when he needed her the most.
Sonakshi's heart sank even further when at that moment she received a call from a hospital in Delhi. The voice on the other end of the line informed her that a patient with a rare neurological disorder had been admitted to the hospital, and they were in need of a specialist like Sonakshi to help with the diagnosis and treatment.
Without a moment's hesitation, Sonakshi didn't return back to her home and made immediate arrangements to travel to Delhi . She knew that she had to put her personal worries aside and focus on helping those in need. As she boarded the plane, her mind was filled with thoughts of Panda and his family, hoping that they would find the strength to overcome their challenges.
As Sonakshi made her way through the bustling hospital corridors, she was stopped in her tracks by a familiar face - Dr. Aprajita Mehta, a senior doctor at the hospital. The look on Dr. Mehta's face was one of concern, and Sonakshi's heart began to race as she braced herself for the news she was about to receive.
"What is the name of patient,Dr.Mehta!?" asked Sonakshi.
"Devashish, Devashish Kapoor" replied Aprajita briefly.
With a heavy heart, Dr. Mehta gently broke the news that the patient with the rare neurological disorder was none other than Sonakshi's best friend, Devashish Kapoor. Sonakshi felt as though the ground had been pulled from beneath her feet, her mind unable to comprehend the gravity of the situation.
Shocked to the core, Sonakshi's emotions were a whirlwind of disbelief, fear, and sorrow. Devashish, her closest friend, was now fighting a battle for his life, and she was the one called upon to help him through it.
"You used to fight for me from bullies, Panda.Now your Muse will fight for your betterment" Sonakshi affirmed to herself as she hurried her mind and legs to Dev's ward.
