The sweat poured under her mask but she dared not take it off as she was better protected by it with it on. At least that's what she tried to convince herself. Her boots and cape dragged heavily on the course and rough sand. There were times were Rey questioned her attire but then it saved her from many deathly situations.

It was a small village, that much Rey knew. Jakku was not known for its friendliness, but there was no doubt that these people were harmless and innocent. Rey kneeled next to the body of a young boy whose haunting eyes begged her for peace. She closed his eyes and slowly turned her attention to the Stormtrooper whom she had tied up. She treaded slowly towards her until she was hovering over her kneeling victim.

"Please... please don't hurt me," the stormtrooper begged with a trembling tone.

Rey looked down at the Stormtrooper and proceeded to take out her Beskar Spear reading herself to strike him down.

"Wait... Wait!!! I have valuable information that could be useful for you."

Rey stopped and looked at the Stormtrooper curiously, studying him up and down to make sure he didn't try something.

"Last night, we raided this village in hopes of finding the Map that leads to the Last Jedi but found nothing. However, the first order soon discovered that a droid contained the map and was left behind after our attack. I was sent to retrieve him. I could help you find him and I'm sure the First Order will reward you handsomely. I'm sure a bounty hunter such as yourself could really use it."

At that moment, BB8 rolled right next to Rey's feet. The stormtrooper looked back and forth between Rey and BB8 in utter disbelief.

"You found him!" he exclaimed in an almost relieved tone. However, his shoulder soon began to slump and he soon realized the gravity of his situation.

"You, are not a Bounty Hunter Are you? You're the White pro-"

Rey stabs through the chest without hesitation this time. She watches as his lifeless body collapses among the heated sand. She looks down at BB8 and nods. They both begin to walk away as Rey's haughty breathing starts to calm down.

BB8 beeps concerningly at her.

"I'm fine. He's not the first anyways, It's just really hot," she assured him. Or perhaps herself.

...

Nima Outpost was the last place Rey wanted to be. Not because she couldn't handle herself but because she didn't like confrontation despite what her reputation dictates. It doesn't help that her attire has her stick out like a sore thumb.
