My Mistake Chapter Four

Madi had just texted me, asking to go to the mall. It was Saturday and I didn't really have anything better to do, so why not. I hadn't heard from Leo all day, he's probably busy.

I jumped into the shower and took a long, warm, and relaxing shower. I got out and straightened my hair so it wasn't a fluffy mess. I did my famous winged eyeliner and put on a little bit of foundation, I was lucky and didn't have much acne.

I stood in front of my closet and groaned. Should I look cute or edgy? This was my thought process every time I went out. I decided to look kick-ass and pulled on my favorite black jeans, black converse, and my favorite band tee. Perfect. I look intimidating.

I grabbed my purse and the keys to the truck, heading to pick up Madi. I sent her a text telling her I'd be there in a few.

"Lil, you look so cute in that!" Madi said looking at the outfit I had picked out. I stood in front of the mirror and stared.

"Are you sure? I think I look fat" I frowned and looked at my flaws. Madi came up behind me a smiled

"Homie, you look hot." I laughed and nodded. Going back into the changing room.

"Are you buying anything?" I asked after I'd rang up my outfit.

"Nah, not here. I wanna go to Pacsun though!" She smiled at me really big. I didn't like Pacsun because I looked fat in their clothing. It was meant for skinny people.

I groaned and nodded. She always gets her way. "Sure, but can we not take forever?" I sulked walking towards the store.

"Yeah! I promise!"

"Okay, well we're going to the food court afterwards."

"Deal!" She squealed and walked into Pacsun and I sighed and rolled my eyes, following her.

"Do you want Subway, or that sushi place?" Madi asked looking at the options.

"Subway, for sure" she nodded and we both ordered our subs, and looked for seat. We found the perfect spot and sat down, munching on our sandwiches and talking about our new clothes and cute boys, when my heart stopped. Was that Leo?

I saw a guy laughing that looked exactly like Leo, but he was with a girl, and she was hanging all over him. She was really pretty and skinny, blonde with blue eyes and a perfect smile. I cringed. Madi noticed something was wrong and turned around and covered her mouth.

"Lil....I think we should go" I felt my whole body heat up and I felt like steam was coming of of my ears. I was beyond gone.

"What the fuck is he doing here, with another girl?" I said with clenched teeth.

"Lil, I don't know, but please calm down, you could literally kill him." Madi was standing and holding out her hands, trying to comfort me, but I was too pissed to let this slide. I stood up and pushed my chair back, tossing my hair behind my shoulder.

"Madi, come back me up" I had already started walking towards him before she could answer.

Leo's eyes got huge, he knew he was screwed.

"Leo, what the fuck do you think you're doing?" I said jabbing my finger into his chest, getting up into his face.

"U-um... I-i.... Lilac..." He stammered, not looking into my eyes.

The girl he was with stepped back and looked at me like I was crazy. Madi stood behind her and the girl ran into her. Madi glared at her and the girl stopped in her tracks.

"Who do you think you are, sweetie?" Madi tilted her head and fake smiled.

"Alex....." she murmured and looked down at her feet.

"How cute." Madi smiled again and gave her a death stare. "Why don't you go and hang over another guy, hun." Alex gave her a dirty look and looked a Leo, who wouldn't even glance at her. She flipped her hair and rolled her eyes, walking off. Bitch.

"Leo, would you like to explain?" I asked sarcastically and flashed my fake smile.

"Lil, I don't even like her." He was still looking at his shoes.

"Leo, you were flirting with her. I'm not blind, I know you. If you truly wanted a second chance, do you think you should be hanging out with other girls?" I jabbed my finger into his chest again, harder, making him stumble back.

"Lilac, I'm sorry. You were just giving me mixed messages" He looked up at me with a pouty face.

"Fuck you." I turned around and walked off, grabbing Madi by the arm and dragging her with me, out of the mall, not looking back once.

"What a fucking asshole" Madi mumbled and rubbed my back. "You told him off though" she smiled and I laughed. I guess I did.

I had just taken Madi home and I was driving back when I got a texts from Leo.

Leo: Lilac forgive me
Leo: please
Leo: I'm drunk and I miss you
Leo: Babe
Leo: answer me

I shook my head and turned off my phone. I hated it when Leo got drunk. To think I was actually beginning to forgive him. What a waste of my time.
