Adventures Chapter two

Okay, why was Leo outside my house at two a.m? Should I change? Should I fix my hair? Should I put on makeup? No, because then I'll look like I care. I do, but he doesn't need to know that. I sighed loudly to my self and slowly tip toe out of my room, hoping my parents are asleep. I held my breath and put my ear against their door and heard snoring. I let out my air and grabbed my converse, putting them on quickly

I stepped outside and looked around. Where was he? I checked my phone. 2:15 a.m. I looked up and saw someone come out of the shadows. I was about to scream when I realized it was him and I sighed. He walked up to me with that stupid smirk on his face that I love.

"Leo, what the fuck are you doing her-" before I could finish I felt his lips on mine. What was happening? I slightly shoved him off and glared at him.

"Hey Lilac" he smiled wide and put his hand behind his neck ,blushing.

"Leo, what the fuck was that and why are you at my house at 2 a.m" I put my hand on my hip and gave him a death stare, hoping he couldn't see my rosy cheeks.

" I want to go on an adventure" he smirked and looked down at the ground.

"Leo, we haven't talked in months, what makes you think I want to?"

"Because I miss you, and I'm sorry." He looked up and got closer, looking into my eyes.

I quickly looked away, "Leo, you hurt me. What makes you think you can just show up at my house at this time of night, and I'll forgive you? Because I won't."

He grabbed a hold of my hand and gently put his hand on my face, turning it towards him so I looked into his eyes. "Lilac, I never meant to hurt you. I did it for you, I wanted you to be happy. I thought it'd help you if you could think things through!"

I stepped back and yanked my hand away, starting to heat up, "Leo, I needed you! I almost hurt myself really badly because you left! You left me when I needed you!" I looked away, hoping he didn't see the hurt in my eyes. I'm strong.

"Lil, I loved you. I only wanted what was best for you. Please forgive me, I want another chance. " He sounded pretty sincere.

"I'm not saying I forgive you, but what if I do." I crossed my arms and tilted my head, looking at him through the corner of my eye.

"We can go on an adventure, I know how much you love doing that, Lil" he smiled broadly and put a hand through his hair.

I looked at him and thought. Maybe people change, maybe they don't. I guess I need to find out for myself.

"Fine Leo, but when" I sighed loudly

"Now" he smirked and grabbed my hand, gently dragging me behind him as we walked down my driveway.

"Lilac, come on!" he said laughing as he stood on a big rock dangerously close to the river. He was always so reckless. Me on the other hand, not so much.

"I don't know if that's a good idea." I said eyeing the rock and river. There could be some carnivore fish in there or something. I could die.

"Lil, if you fall I'll catch you!" he smiled and placed out his hand. God he was so charming.

"Well, I guess so." I grabbed a hold of his hand and stepped over multiple small rocks, placing my foot on the biggest one.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, "See, I have you."

I glared at him "Leo, I didn't agree to dating you again. Do not touch the merchandise" I giggled and unwrapped his arms.

"Fine, fine. I'll be able to again some day, just you wait." he flashed his famous smile and laughed, bending down and splashing the water at me.

"Leo, that water is disgusting! Don't do that!" I groaned and turned my head.

He laughed loudly. He can be such a kid. It's so cute.

3:30 a.m

We were laying on the grass, looking up at the stars together, silent. It made me think about things. We all are made up of our own galaxies, none of which are the same. Strange. I've always wanted to do something like this. Stare up at the stars and just think about things. I wonder if on some of planet, some other life form is looking up at the stars and planets, having the same thought. I don't know why I was thinking about these things, when I have the person who had caused me so much pain, laying next to.

I looked over at him and he had his eyes closed, smiling. He looked peaceful. I wonder why he just suddenly decided to show up in my life again. I mean, he said he missed me, and that he was sorry, but did he truly mean it? Apparently I'd been staring at him while thinking because I realized that his head was facing me, and he was staring me in the eyes.

"Well, hi" he said as he chuckled and his eyes gleamed. His eyes were so pretty.

My cheeks turned bright pink and I smiled "Oh, sorry, hi. I was just thinking about things."

"It's okay, I was too." He smiled at me and I nodded my head. "Lilac, can we cuddle"

I looked at him like he was crazy, "Leo-"

"Please, I've really missed you, I've /really/ really missed you. And I really want to cuddle. Please" he pouted and opened his arms.

I sighed and put my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Lilac?" he whispered against my hair.

"Hm?"

"Thank you"
