FRIDAY, having heard the entire conversation, informed Tony and Pepper about Evie's new friend and what she wanted to do. Tony agreed and told everyone else about inviting Hermione and her parents to dinner. While he was at it, Tony would also invite Evie's other friends and their families to join. It would probably make Hermione feel calmer having her new friends there as well. Tony called his niece's friends' parents and invited them to dinner, explaining that the group had made a new friend, and he thought it would be a good idea if they met at once. The parents agreed, as did Peter's Aunt May.

So, at the end of the day, Evie, Peter, and the girls left school, talking and laughing. Hermione smiled at her new friends, thankful that she finally had friends. When the group got to the front of the school, they stopped suddenly when the girls and Peter saw their families talking to Evie's Uncle Tony and Pepper.

The children looked at Evie, and Evie shrugged; she had no idea what her Uncle Tony was doing. The little group walked towards the adults when Tony smiled and shook Hermione's parents' hands, “Great, I'm glad you accepted. Dinner will be at six at Stark Tower. It won't be anything fancy, so please feel free to come in casual wear.”

Evie looked at her uncle, “What's going on, Uncle Tony?” Evie asked.

Tony smiled at his goddaughter, “Well, lightning bug, we're having dinner with your friends and their families. It's a welcome to America dinner for your new friend Hermione,” Tony explained to Evie and her friends. They cheered and began talking amongst themselves. The girls told Peter and Hermione they would have a wonderful time at Evie's place, “Evie has the coolest playroom,” Bridget told Peter and Hermione.

“And a lot of cool video games we can play,” Carmen added.

Hermione looked at them, worried, “I've never played video games before,” Hermione admitted.

Peter placed a hand on Hermione's shoulder, “That's okay, Hermione, I'll teach you how to play,” Peter said and blushed, as did Hermione.

The other three girls looked at each other and smirked, “So, Peter and Hermione like each other,” Keziah whispered to her friends. Evie and the girls grinned mischievously, “Great, we'll have to do something about that,” Carmen whispered back.

Tony chuckled after hearing his favorite girls, “So, my little cupids plan on becoming matchmakers?” Tony asked, making the girls jump.

They turned and looked at Tony, “No,” The girls said in unison with a mischievous look.

Tony rolled his eyes, “I'm sure you're not, but if you need help, let me know, and JARVIS and I will help you.” The girls grinned and nodded toward Tony.

After the adults finished making their plans, they separated, and each went home to prepare for dinner. Tony took Evie's hand, and they went to the car. As they drove home, Tony decided to stop at the bakery to buy six New York-style cheesecakes. It seemed like a lot, but considering there were two gods and a supersoldier at home, Tony thought six cheesecakes should be enough for them and their guests.

By the time the trio arrived at the Tower, JARVIS had already informed the other Avengers about the evening dinner plans. To their surprise, Clint's pregnant wife, Laura, and their two kids, Cooper and Lila, were visiting. Evie hugged Clint when she saw him, “Little Bird, I'd like you to meet my wife. Laura and my kids Cooper and Lila.”

Evie looked at Clint wide-eyed, “You're married and have kids! Why don't they live here?” Evie asked innocently.

Clint chuckled, “I wanted to keep them out of this SHIELD Avengers thing, but now that you're here and we can protect you, I don't see any reason my family can't live here too. I talked it over with Laura and Tony earlier, and they agreed. So, my family will be moving to my floor in a couple of weeks,” Clint informed Evie.

“Will Cooper and Lila go to the same school as me?”

Clint hesitated, then Tony answered, “I don't see why not, Lightning Bug. I'll pay for everything,” Tony told his goddaughter.

The kids cheered, “Great! You'll like Trevor School. You don't have to wear a uniform, and the classes are cool,” Evie told her new friend.

Even though Evie was older than Cooper and Lila, she promised to look out for them. Clint and Laura smiled, “Thanks, Little Bird,” Clint told Evie. Now that the introductions were over, Evie told Cooper and Lila what they would do that evening. Cooper and Lila were excited to meet Evie's friends. With that, the kids ran off to see how dinner was going and got a piece of fruit for their afternoon snack. That should hold them over until dinner.

After playing for a while, Natasha came into Evie's playroom and told the kids to get ready for dinner, “The other kids and their parents will arrive shortly,” Natasha told them.

They nodded, and each went to their parents' floor to get ready. Evie decided to wear blue jeans and her trainers; she quickly took a shower, brushed her hair and teeth, then got dressed. Once prepared, Evie left their floor and went to the Avengers' common room, where she met her father and the other Avengers. A little while later, Cooper and Lila showed up with their parents. Soon, JARVIS informed Tony and the others that their first guests arrived.

One by one, Evie's friends arrived and greeted everyone. They were pleased to meet Cooper and Lila and told the younger children how much they would enjoy their new school. After talking to Evie's friends, Lila and Cooper were looking forward to their new school. Evie, Cooper, Lila, and the rest of Evie's friends went to play and waited for Hermione to arrive. Hermione and her parents arrived thirty minutes later. Tony greeted them.

“Welcome, Drs. Ganger, we're glad you could make it. Let me introduce you to everyone,” Tony said.

He introduces the Grangers to the Avengers, Remus and Pepper. The Grangers smiled and shook everyone's hand, but when they got to Thor, they were a little intimidated by his size, although that all changed when Thor introduced himself to the doctors, along with Hermione, who realized that Thor was a big teddy bear.

Thor kneeled in front of Hermione and offered his hand, “It is an honor to meet my daughter's new friend,” Thor said and kissed Hermione's hand; the little girl flushed and giggled. Hermione's parents smiled at seeing their daughter's reaction.

Natasha exited the kitchen and told the adults that dinner wasn't ready yet. Thor looked at his daughter, “Petal, why don't you take your friends to play? When dinner is ready, JARVIS will let you know.”

Evie grinned at her father and grabbed Hermione's hand, “Come on, Hermione, let's go play on my jungle gym.”

Hermione smiled and followed Evie with a gaggle of children behind her.
