Taylor's Point of View:

Travis had landed in New York...

Last time we talked, he said that he was already checked into his hotel. I didn't ask him to stay at my house because it was too early for that and things would be awkward. I also had to admit that I was nervous.

Beyond nervous...

My knees shock every time I thought about what was going to happen once I meet him. My heart had been broken so many times that I found it hard to even think about love.

To be honest, I was just trying this out so I won't have anything to regret later. At least I could say I tried. I didn't know what Travis was like. Stalking him on the internet only provided me with two things. He was super passionate about football and he loved beer.

So basically I didn't have to worry about drinking too much in front of him. I was an alcoholic, i was surprised the world hadn't figured that out yet.

I took out my anti depressant pills and took one with water. Nowadays I needed these to survive, otherwise I would be so low on energy I wouldn't be able to get off the bed in the morning.

I took two everyday since the breakup and they somehow lifted my mood and willed me to be productive.

We were supposed to meet at 8 o'clock and go to a five star restaurant. Travis said he had planned everything, and he was going to pick me up himself.

I was dressed and ready by 7:30. I wore a medium sized black dress with spaghetti straps. Nothing could go wrong in a black dress right?

I decided to wear nude colored heels with it along with white handbag to contrast with everything.

The dress touched the top of my knees and I slid my hands over it to smooth it out as i waited for the time to come. I put the antidepressant pills in my handbag just in case things go rough.

After sometime my phone dinged with message.

*I'm here...*

I smiled. He was ten minutes early. I made my way downstairs. I took a deep breath and opened the door. He was standing by his convertible hoodless car which I presumed he drove himself before I couldn't see anyone else in sight.

His eyes widened as soon as they met mine. I didn't know it was possible to see another person's pupils dilate in real time. His mouth slightly opened as if he couldn't believe his eyes.

"Hi..." He beamed, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he made his way over to me. He was dressed in a light blue shirt, jacket and black pants. "You look absolutely beautiful..." He was almost breathless as he finished the sentence.

I blushed. "You look equally as handsome." I replied. He tried to hide his shy smile at my compliment.

"I just bought this shirt." He said adjusting the collar nervously. I think he didn't mean to say that out loud because he squeezed his eyes shut in embarrassment.

I giggled at his expression and he suddenly seemed relaxed. He extended his hand to grab mine. I felt the warmth as soon as I put my hand onto his.

He led me towards the car and opened the door for me. He picked up a bouquet of flowers from the back seat and handed them to me.

"I didn't know which flower you liked most so I bought each one." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

His little gesture left me speechless. People would be surprised that no boyfriend of mine has ever bothered to be this thoughtful. The bouquet was big and extremely beautiful, filled with every unique flower, some I've never even seen before.
