Suna felt a storm of emotions swirling inside her—relief, shock, and a strange, simmering anger. Her heart raced as she tried to process what had just happened. She turned to Kaya, who was watching her with concern and unwavering support.

"We'll talk later," Kaya whispered, his eyes conveying a silent promise of explanation and reassurance.

But the look in Suna's eyes was far from convinced. Her brows furrowed, and a fire sparked in her gaze. "No," she said firmly, her voice low but resolute. "We're going to talk now."

Without another word, she stood from her place and strode towards one of the empty rooms, her steps quick and determined. Kaya hesitated for a moment, sensing the depth of her emotions, before following her.

Inside the room, Suna turned to face Kaya, crossing her arms tightly across her chest. Her mind was racing with questions and confusion, the recent events blending into a blur. She could feel her pulse in her temples, the anger and bewilderment coursing through her veins.

Kaya closed the door behind him, his expression serious. He could see the mix of hurt and determination in her eyes, and he knew this conversation needed to happen.

"Suna, I—" he began, but she cut him off.

"What was that out there?" she demanded, her voice shaking slightly with the intensity of her emotions. "Why did you say we're married? What were you thinking?"

Kaya took a deep breath, stepping closer but maintaining a respectful distance. "I did it to protect you," he said earnestly. "Your father was out of line, and I couldn't stand by and let him hurt you like that. I thought... If he believed we were married, he might back off. It wasn't the time or place to cause more drama and disrespect your mother further, even at her funeral!"

Suna's anger didn't dissipate, but she could see the sincerity in Kaya's eyes. She uncrossed her arms, feeling a slight softening of her resolve. "You can't just say things like that without talking to me," she said, her voice quieter but still firm. "I need to be in the picture . I need to understand."

Kaya nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "I know. I'm sorry. I should have discussed it with you first. I just wanted to shield you from more pain."

Suna's anger flared up again, more intense this time, as she heard his words—'shielding her from the pain!' Her frustration boiled over, and she couldn't contain it any longer. She could feel the heat rising in her face, her heart pounding with a mix of rage and hurt.

How could he think she needed saving? After everything they had been through, after all the progress she had made, how could he still see her as someone who couldn't manage her own life? She had endured so much, survived so many hardships, and yet here he was, trying to take control of her life, making decisions as if she were incapable of handling her own affairs.

"I've been responsible for myself this whole year ," she continued, her voice shaking with emotion. "And now, more than ever, I need to be in control of my own life. You can't just step in and act like you know what's best for me."

Her words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of years of suppressed anger and frustration. She felt a bitter sting in her chest, a mixture of betrayal and resentment. She didn't want to be rescued; she wanted to be respected, to be seen as an equal, not as someone who needed to be shielded from the world.!"

Kaya's face tightened, a flicker of frustration crossing his features. "It wasn't a pity, Suna. I was trying to help."

"Well, I don't need your help!" she shot back, her voice cracking with emotion. "I don't need you to lie for me. I need honesty, I need respect."
