Inside, the warmth of her home contrasted starkly with the cold tension hanging between them. Suna gestured for Kaya to take a seat on the plush sofa, her hand trembling slightly. Kaya nodded and sat down, the cushions sinking under his weight. She followed suit, sitting across from him on the edge of a chair, her posture tense and her hands clasped tightly in her lap. She looked at him, her eyes filled with a mix of anxiety and determination.

Suna took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. "I'm sorry for how I treated you when we were married," she began, her voice trembling with emotion. "I know I made you feel unwanted and unloved when you tried your best to help me. I pushed you away."

Kaya was completely taken aback by her openness, but he listened intently, his heart aching at her vulnerability. He leaned forward slightly, his eyes locked on hers, feeling the weight of her words.

"I've been reflecting on my past," Suna continued, her voice heavy with regret, "and I realize now how unfairly I treated you...When I should have found consolation in you... I...ran to the other side looking for it in other people who didn't give a damn about me... You.."

"Suna," Kaya said softly, trying to comfort her.

"Please let me continue ...My childhood affected me badly," Tears welled up in her eyes as she spoke, her voice breaking. " I was always in the shadow of my little sister, the unloved child, the unwanted. That feeling stayed with me as I grew up. Despite the pain, I held onto hope... a belief that my family, especially my father, loved me." Her tears streamed down her cheeks, and she struggled to continue.

Kaya's heart ached to see her again in such a vulnerable state, feeling her pain deeply.

But she wiped her tears and pressed on. "They say a girl's first love is her father, but mine sold me like cattle to the highest bidder. My first marriage affected me extremely. My father... he married me off to a man who wasn't stable, who had mental challenges. I felt lonely, invisible, trapped in a life that wasn't mine."

Kaya was shocked to learn about this; he knew she had been forced into her first marriage, but he never knew the details. It angered him so much that he wished her father were in front of him now so he could beat the shit out of him. But he clenched his fists and held himself back, for her sake... only.

"You know what kills me the most and makes my nights decorated with nightmares, not my Ex-husband and his sick fetish that I had to endure for three full days." The anger was evident in her voice "Is my father when... I...I begged him and kissed his feet, pleading with him not to leave me there... And my aunt, I kissed her hand and wept like a child, but no one... no one had m...mercy on me... A father should be the protector of his child, but... mine was the executioner."
