Dressed in in an exquisite red and black colored gown, a young miss was sitting inside the carriage that departed not too long ago.
Eyes locked what's in front of her, her complexion was not that good. Neck tight, posture held, back straightened too much, corset also too tight, she was feeling uncomfortable.
Together with the carriage road movements in a rocky soil forest, she was also in pain.
"Grace, how long am I going to endure this?" She said in an expression that is about to cry.
"Approximately three hours, young miss."
Hearing to what her servant said, she burst out.
"Why the heck did you dress me in an instant? You could have just dress me in the middle of the road or after half of the run!?"
"I apologized, young miss. The coachman told me earlier that we will be out in this forest for about half and hour." She explained, trying to soothe her master not to panic. "After this forest, we will venture into the forest. I am so sorry that you have to endure that, young miss."
"I don't care about the forest or what," She complained with her irritant. "Undress me right now, Grace!"
"One of the carriage's glass is broken young miss. Everything that is inside will be seen clearly outside as the curtains will also be lifted." Grace elaborated softly, in a calm demeanor. "The carriage has the seal of your house. You should be dressed nicely and the inside should be as pretty so that it won't tarnish your reputation even more."
"Even more? Excuse me!?"
"Yes, I already know, and maybe your state people also had, young miss."
"Only if you were on my shoes, Grace."
"I would never." Grace unconsciously mumbled. It was out of the blue, too sudden, and that left her master to have her jaw fell from the ground.
"...... What..... the heck was was that?"
Grace then lowered her head. "It was a slip of my tongue, young miss. I'm very sorry."
Sabrina bit her lip and the only thing she did was too groan in silent. She was too flabbergasted by the reply her servant made.
Few hours had passed and the curtains was lifted. Dazzles of light spread through the insides of the carriage. Two faint images of a person can be seen outside of the carriage. This extravagant and expenisve landau looking chariot with a seal now has a stable movement. The stomping of the horse's gallop can now also be heard clearly as it is now ambling on a concrete road.
While this carriage went through the road, people stopped their movements with eyes glued to the logo of the carriage. Some were startled, surprise, flinched, because apparently, the logo belongs to the Elsteel Family- the one and only ruler of the place they're standing at.
"The seal... look!"
"Maybe the heads were strolling?"
"I think they're just vising."
"But who's inside....?"
Citezens from the outside chattered and whispered with their heads being lowered as it is a sign of respect; they are not forced but needed. A carriage coming from the outside of their state, it only seemed questionable to them. The news of the young miss' accidents was still not known inside since the family made it secretive but it slipped outside their states such as the temple and the royal palace.
"It's boring here, Grace." Sabrina mumbled, "The town here looks mediocre unlike those of Bourghess."
"That is because your family only is a count and the family of your fiance was closer to the hand of heirarchy." Grace answered her getting ready with everythibg to be done. beside her was a bunch of beauty materials and perfume sprays. "I still doubt my information though. I think your family is viscount or what is it. Patricians are too hard, young miss."
"I guess it is.... the structure here too looks uncivilized. For a moment, I thought we had arrived in the stone age." Her response felt like a joke to Grace, but Sabrina did not laught. Her face shows disappointment.
