The conch horn that signaled dinner sounded. Willow flopped down next to Kayla at the Apollo table.

When everyone was seated Chiron clapped his hands for attention. "Campers. I have an announcement."

Two teens stood behind him. Both wore the purple shirts of Camp Jupiter. One was male and the other was female. The guy was tall and muscled in a lean way. He had close-cropped black hair brown eyes and dark skin. He looked about fifteen or sixteen. The girl looked around the same age. She was Asian. She wasn't super short but she looked tiny next to the boy. Her straight black hair was about mid-back length. Her almond eyes were a deep shade of brown.

"These are our exchange campers from Camp Jupiter. I expect you all to welcome them. This is Marcus son of Hermes and Madison daughter of Apollo." Chiron gestured them to the correct tables.

Madison walked over to the Apollo table. Willow scooted over to make room for her.

"Hi Madison, it's so nice to have you," Willow said.

"Actually it's just Madi."

"Okay, Madi, my name's Willow. This is Kayla, Austin, Nico, and Will our cabin councilor," Willow said the last part with a pointed look at Will. She gestured to each of her siblings as she said their names.

There were choruses of hello's.

"Are you two twins or something? Like from the same mortal mother. Will and Willow?" Madi asked.

Will and Willow glanced at each other. It wasn't the first time they'd gotten that. The similar names and similar looks confused a lot of people.

"No, we're only half-siblings," Will said.

"Oh. You just look similar. And the names. Was that on accident then?"

"Yeah. My mom was going for something artsy," Willow said.

"Seems on brand for an Apollo kid," Madi said. "So you're also a child of Apollo?" She looked at Nico with his dark clothes and aviator jacket.

"No, no, definitely not. I'm a son of Hades. But if I sit at my own table I have to sit alone. Doctors orders that I don't. He claims it's not good for me," Nico said.

"I'm the doctor," Will put in. "Nico's my boyfriend."

"Why do you guys only sit with your cabins?"

"Tradition I guess. Breakfast and lunch are more lax though. Everyone kind of just sits wherever. That's kind of a newer thing though," Will said.

"It's mostly because of Nico and Will that we can sit anywhere during breakfast and lunch now," Kayla revealed.

"A few years ago you had to sit at your table no matter what even if you were the only one in your cabin. Percy Jackson and Thalia Grace always had to sit alone when they were campers here," Willow said.
