Kamdyn watched Ryan close all night. She set alarms to wake him up and make sure he knew all the right answers to her questions.

"You annoyed with me yet?" Kamdyn asked as she kissed Ryan's cheek to wake him up.

"Never," he mumbled, loving her but not loving that she was waking him up again.

"You okay?"

"Yes Kam," he promised, knowing she was just worried about him. He felt the same after her reaction to whatever Macey had put in her lunch.

"Okay," she smiled, kissing his cheek again, "Love you,"

They both rolled over and went back to sleep for a few hours but Kamdyn couldn't relax. She tossed and turned, scrolled on her phone, and even got up around 5 to start getting ready.

"We have 4 hours before we have to think about leaving and you're already up?"

"I couldn't go back to sleep,"

"You look pretty,"

"Thank you," she chuckled a little, kissing him before she sat back up.

"Come on, let's go out for breakfast today,"

"Then you need to get up lazy bones," she chuckled.

"I will with the right motivation,"

"Is food that motive?" Kamdyn laughed as she got up, only to be pulled back by Ryan.

"No," he chuckled, "A kiss might though,"

"Then you have to get up," she grinned, leaning just close enough before pulling back so that he couldn't get to her. "Better get up so you can come and get me,"

He sighed and fell back on the bed dramatically before getting up and cornering her in the hallway.

"I'll take that kiss now,"

"That's hot," she grinned, "You sure you're gonna get changed so we can leave?"

"Only if I get my kiss now. And you stalling is not making it any better,"

"What are you gonna do about it, Blaney?"

"I'm gonna get what I got up for Lawson," he chuckled, before kissing her, which ended up being more of a make-out session.

"I'm gonna have to fix my makeup now," she grinned as she pulled away from him.

"However. That was hot,"

"Agreed," she smiled, kissing him one more time before disappearing to the bathroom to fix her makeup.

After having breakfast at their favorite little diner, they headed to Penske and started their day off in their own separate offices. Kamdyn was scheduling meetings, interviews, and sponsorship deals.

"Kam?" Ryan's voice came over the intercom connected to her phone.

"Yeah?" She asked, picking the receiver up and putting it to her ear.

"You ready for lunch?"

"Yeah. Did we grab anything or are we heading home?" She asked as she highlighted something on her list.

"Either way is fine with me," he shrugged, "We can easily just grab something from the cafe here,"

"That's fine. I have a ton to do so could you just grab me a salad and we can eat in here?"

"What kind of salad do you want?"

"Chicken Caesar," she grinned.

"I'll be there in a few minutes,"

"I'll be here," she nodded, saying a quick goodbye before they hung up the phone.

It was only a few minutes before he showed up and shut her office door, setting her lunch in front of her.

"Thank you," she grinned a little, shutting her laptop and putting it to the side.

"2 Caesar dressings,"

"Thank you," she smiled again, starting a conversation about the races coming up. "You sure you're okay for Chicago? You can take a week off,"

"Nope. Not doing that,"

"Ryan," she sighed.

"I'm fine Kam. I promise,"

"Do you pinky swear?"

"Are we really going to lock pinkies?" He asked, as he got up and locked their pinky fingers together.

"I guess so," she smiled, kissing him before they both went back to their lunch.
