Kyzil Plateau, Planet Veldin (11:13 AM Local Time)

A mysterious Lombax with brown stripes walks towards a ship he built by using his wrench to put together the pieces. After fixing some of the ship, he takes medicine and on a daily basis as one of his parents instructed before they passed away but never got the chance to ask them why. He presses the button on his glove with a voice calling, "Final step attack robotic ignition system thank you for using Help Desk Technology." He sighs in irritation looking up at the sky seeing the planets along with the stars.

Meanwhile, in a factory on a nearby planet...

Robots are being built and let out one by one until a glitch happens in the system letting out a default robot with green eyes as small as a baby kitten. The alarm is buzzing in error for a few seconds until it stops suddenly shutting off the system. The robot wakes up to see something standing across from him he walks towards it with the other robots standing from a distance. The default sees what the infobot showed him on the screen shocked from witnessing what he saw hides the bot in his stomach shack area as quickly as he could. He looks up to see one of the robots in front of him afraid of its size runs underneath his legs sliding down a slide entering a ship he presses a button to start the ship to escape two more robots fly after him.

Approaching Planet Veldin (11:47 AM Local Time)

As the default is flying across space to get away, the robots are behind him trying to shoot him down with the ship blasters. Successfully dodging the first couple of shots, one of the ships shoot him down hitting one of the ships engines.

Planet Veldin

The Lombax looks at his ship for a second admiring his hard work until he hears something coming from the sky looking up to see a ship flying eventually crashing to the ground. Hearing the crash puts the creature in shock seeing the ship the default was in shattered to pieces with fire around it while the little robot lying on the ground unconscious. This makes the Lombax's curiosity grow as he halfway makes his way towards the crash area he feels a sharp pain in his leg. He looks up to see the robot forgetting the pain in his leg. He looks around to see if anyone is watching as he picks up the robot from the crash site taking it back to his garage. As he is screwing in more parts for his ship, the robot wakes up seeing an animal figure fixing a ship. He walks up to the stranger admiring his ship, "Interesting." startling the Lombax falling off the box he is standing on top of, "Your quite handy with your wrench." The Lombax gets up getting the dirt off his gloves, "You bet. I built that ship with it." Clank looks at the ship, "Currently I am in search of someone who could be of assistance in saving the solar system." he takes a quick glance at a poster with a man in a green superhero costume, "Do you know where I might find that fellow?" The Lombax responds, "Well, he's on the radio every week. Other than that...no. Hey, what's with all this saving the solar system stuff anyway." The metal bot takes the infobot and shows the Lombax, "Hello citizens of...." showing the planet of Novalis, "My race the blarg have a small problem our planet has become so polluted, overpopulated, and poisonous that we are no longer able to dwell here. But I Chairmen Drek have a solution we are constructing a pristine new world using the choicest planetary components available. So what does this mean to you. You might ask? Using highly sophisticated technology which you couldn't possibly understand we will be extracting a large portion of your planet and adding it to our new one. Unfortunately in this change of mass will cause your planet to spin out of control and drift into the sun where it will explode into a flaming ball of gas but of course sacrifices must be made. Thank you for your cooperation." A man yells in the background, "Cut!" Chairmen Drek continues, "And if you don't like it you can take your whiny sniveling snotty-nosed populations for a line behind me and kiss my..." he looks to his left talking to someone, "Are we still on? Well turn it off you idiot!" The screen shuts off. The Lombax is in shock to hear this, "The people on those planets are hosed. Well, good luck getting Captain Qwark to help you." The robot says in response, "Actually, you could help me. If you could use your ship to take me to the co-ordinates contained in this infobot, I might be able to gather further information there." The Lombax quickly tells him, "Even if I wanted to I can't. I'm missing a crucial component of the ship." The default uses his scanners to find the missing part, "The Robotic Ignition System." The Lombax questions him, "How did you know that?" to which the robot responds, "I, sir, happen to be equipped with the latest in Robotic Ignition Systems. My programming allows me to start any ship I choose." The Lombax asks, "So I agree to take you to this...wherever it is...and you get my ship started for me. There is something I should ask you if that's alright." The Lombax tells him, "Sure anything." The default asks him, "What is that thing in your garage that looks like a bottle? I saw it while I was unconscious is it important?" The Lombax stands there thinking to himself, "Oh no! He saw my bottle of pills that I take everyday I don't know why he's asking about them I better go get them." The Lombax says out loud, "Alright I'm going to go get them." As he is about to walk off two ships corner the duo, "Deal! Well I'm going to have to leave them let's go!"

Outer Space

Chairmen Derek's flagship Veldin's Orbit

Drek sees the duo escape from Planet Veldin, "This could be a problem. Take care of it." he tells a figure standing in the dark walking away and the screen fades to black. In the ship he built, the Lombax looks back, "Whoa this is great!" leaving his home planet, "So that's where I've been stuck this whole time!" The robot starts to worry, "Please return you appendages to the steering mechanism, sir." The Lombax turns back around, "Huh? Oh right, heh. Sorry." he continues, "Oh and by the way, you can stop calling me sir. The name's Ratchet." The default tells him, "Please to make your acquaintance, sir. So back on your planet are you sure that bottle wasn't important?" Ratchet tells the robot, "Ummm no I can live without it besides it's not too important. You got a name?" The default gives a proper introduction, "My serial number is B54296-" he is interrupted by Ratchet rudely bumping him, "Oops! I'll just call you Clank for short. Hang on!" The two arrive on a random planet in the galaxy.

Back On Chairmen Drek's Flagship

Chairmen Drek confronts an old man, "So you see, it would be most beneficial if your citizens were not in the city when my workers begin removing it." The old man disapproves, "Preposterous! I will not stand for this!" Drek tells him, "Unfortunately, you have no choice in the matter." The old man gets a little frustrated, "Let's just see what Captain Qwark has to say about that, my good man!" Chairmen Drek evilly laughs , "I don't see what's so funny. Captain Qwark could dispatch you without even breaking a sweat! You, you puny....." Drek puts his hand up, "You have now officially worn out your welcome, and my patience!" His henchman picks up the old man from the back of his outfit, "This is your last chance! Stop this madness now!" Drek says sarcastically, "Okay, wait... you're right I will withdraw my troops!" Surprising the old man, "Really?" as Drek says aggressively, "No! He's all yours gentlemen! Try not to leave any marks!"
