Chapter 5: Logging Site Eudora

Meanwhile aboard Executive Chairmen Drek's flagship...

Eudora Orbit

Drek stands looking at a planet, "Yes quite lovely! That should just about do it Commander we are finished with this world. Commence towing our planet to its next destination." No response as he grows irritated, "Lieutenant!" His lieutenant salutes, "Yes sir!" Drek responds, "You have fulfilled your tree quota..barely." The Lieutenant standing in front of the camera, "We are ready to return to base." Drek stops him, "Not so fast lieutenant. Just because we don't need anymore trees doesn't mean they should have them. Destroy everything!" as he lets out an evil laugh. From a distance, Ratchet and Clank land on Planet Eudora as Clank turns off the ship he instructs Ratchet, "Now I will be right back you take a nap." petting him on the head, "Uhh Clank you can stop petting me now also I can't even move my body is sore. Wait how am I talking I'm so full I'm not even hungry." Clank turns his head to see Ratchet back to normal, "Ratchet your back to yourself again! Well aside from that you don't have any clothes on." Ratchet looks down seeing himself naked, "Ohh boy!" trying to cover himself up, "Umm you don't have extra clothes do you?" Clank responds, "I do. Skid McMarx gave me some extra clothes that are your size put them on. I'll start teaching you how to use weapons in werewolf form as well." Ratchet puts the extra pair of clothes on quickly as possible, "Hm these are comfy just like my old ones. Well if I turn again note to self make sure my clothes don't rip like that again." The two head out to explore the planet, they approach a building defeating the machine robots to achieve the suck cannon, "Sweet!" Ratchet says amazed. On the way to discover more of the planet, Ratchet uses the trespasser to unlock the door and see that the Lieutenant is standing in front of them. Ratchet gets his wrench ready as his eyes turn slit green while Clank gets into karate fighting position, the Lieutenant drops an Infobot and runs away making Ratchet confused, "You sure showed him." his eyes turn back to normal as Clank feels confident, "I suppose I did."

A cat man is seen with a big wrench fixing a pipe accidentally breaking it and have it leak out gas, "Is your current occupation leaving a rotten taste in your mouth?" The scene cuts to Drek talking, "Then you need to know about BTS (Blarg Tactical Search Station). Hi I'm Supreme Executive Chairmen Drek. We here at BTS are seeking motivated individuals to fill positions in these exciting careers. Grind boot tester, warhead assembly technician, mutant animal hasbantry, robot repair man, suck cannon test dummy, and administrative assistant. So call BTS build our weapons while you build your future, "I'm calling BTS today."

"Now we're talkin. Did you see all the cool gages they're making? Let's go get some!" Ratchet says excitedly as Clank disapproves, "No. We must continue our search for Captain Qwark." Ratchet keeps his cool, "You're absolutely right." Clank is shocked to hear his response, "I am." Ratchet tells him, "Sure. We need to find Qwark. Although when we find him, wouldn't it be nice to be able to tell him where Chairmen Drek is?" Clank agrees, "I suppose." Ratchet tells Clank, "Well, we go to the space station and talk to the scientists. They work for Drek so they're bound to know where he is." Clank questions Ratchet about his thinking, "I am unsure about your logic." Ratchet gets irritated, "Aaah, you think too much. Come on, let's go." They get to the ship, "Better let me drive and make sure your clothes don't rip." Clank says to Ratchet, "Alright just make sure I don't lose it." Ratchet gets up from his seat to take off his clothes to prevent them from ripping as Clank sets coordinates to the Blarg Station.
