Chapter 4 - Prison

Lia woke up on the bed with a wet cloth over her forehead. She removed the cloth from her forehead and got out of the bed.

She looks out the window and saw that it wasn't dark outside. But She did see some people cleaning up the remains of the man that were killed yesterday.

Lia lets out a small sigh and felt guilty that She and Jason didn't get to do anything to save him. And the way that monster cut him open was inhumane and horrific.

She wouldn't wish that kind of fate on anyone, not even that creep in her hometown. Lia lets out a small sigh and exited the room and were about to walk passed Ferious's office.

When She heard a angry male voice saying inside the office. "How long do You think this will go on?! We lost two of our people and now You want to send a few of us to help some woman find her son!?!

Have You gone insane?!" Lia heard Ferious's voice say to the man with a calm tone in his voice. "I know it is risky, but with that lady is desperate to find her son.

And I wont let her and that gentleman continue their search alone." The man lets out a small scoff and says to him.

"Don't want them go alone? When did You care about the well being of strangers? Is it because her brat looks so much like that bastard son of Yours!?

What are You planning to do with..." Ferious has a serious tone in his voice as He says to the man. "I am not planning anything especially not to that boy.

All I want is to get that boy back to his mother, and if You even think for a second that I wish to use that boy as a second chance for myself.

Then You are surely mistaken..." The man looks at him and says with a small chuckle. "Mistaken? Or did You forget what You did all those years ago?

That bastard son of Yours should have been..." Lia became startled when She heard Ferious slam his fist onto the desk and heard him say.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE TALK ABOUT THAT DAY! WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY WAS A MISTAKE AND YOU KNOW DAMN WELL, THAT WE SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO PERVENT IT!

AND LOOK WHERE WE BLOODY ARE NOW! IF YOU WISH TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE OUT OF THAT SHIT HOLE YOU CALL A MOUTH,

THEN I SURRGEST THAT YOU GET OUT OF MY OFFICE RIGHT NOW!" The man Ferious talked to lets out a growl and exited the room.

And that's when Lia got to see his face for the first time. He has black hair and blue eyes with bits of gold in them.

Half his face is scarred as if He was clawed by a bear. And He wore a brown suit with a strange pendant around his neck.

The man turned to look at Lia and gave her a scoff before leaving. Lia stood there wondering what was that man's problem.

She was about to go and check on Ferious when a maid walked over to her saying. "I see that You are awake, come with me and I take You to the dinning hall where Your partner is waiting for You."

Lia looks at the maid for a few seconds before following her to the large dinning hall. She found Jason sitting with Teryol, Vergil and Hama as they were eating together.

When Lia got to their table She heard Hama say to Jason. "That weapons You and Lia used look very interesting, how does it work?"

Jason looks at Hama and says with a serious look on his face. "You just aim at the head and pull the trigger and watch whatever it hits explode."

Hama looks at him and says. "Like You did to... Aslenia?" Jason looks at him and says with curiosity. "Aslenia? Is that what You call that monster that cut up that poor bastard yesterday?
