"All those 3 years... wasted"
It was Ni-ki's 3rd anniversary with his girlfriend. He dressed up all nice just for her and proudly smiled in the mirror. "I can't wait to impress her."
In fact, his plan was quite... extra, but nice.
He wanted to take her to the mall, then a fancy dinner, maybe go to the arcade after, and go home and maybe make out? He didn't know, but he was certain that she'll like it.
He rang on her doorbell and held out the flowers and chocolate in front of her doorstep, only to find her kissing another man. His eyes widened and he dropped the items. "Babe...? Who is this?"
She sighed, "Someone way better than you. Why do you care?"
"Why do I care? I'm your fucking boyfriend! Why wouldn't I care?" Ni-ki yelled at her. She just rolled her eyes at him and sighed.
"Ni-ki, look. You were a great boyfriend. But just accept that my new boyfriend is better than you. Way better." She insisted, kissing her new boyfriend's cheek in front of him.
She laughs before throwing an egg at him. "Those stuff you got for me? I destroyed them."
He looks up at her, "Wait... What do you mean?" He asks before seeing all the destroyed stuff. His eyes widened and he swore his heart just shattered into multiple pieces.
"He bought me so much better stuff. Stuff you couldn't afford."
Ni-ki took all his willpower not to cry, he clenched his fists. "Why did you do this to me? I thought you cared!" He let out a shaky breath, "All that money... wasted just for your side chick?"
"Exactly."
"You're a fucking bitch. I regret everything I've done."
Ni-ki stands up and slaps her hard. "I wasted 3 years on you! And this is how you repay me? I genuinely cared! I was the one who comforted you, I was the one who was there at your lowest, I was the one who gave you my all!"
"Ow! How could you?" She cries out and puts a hand on the cheek he just slapped. "You monster! My skin is delicate!"
"I don't give a single shit."
Her eyes filled up with tears, "Ni-ki... Why would you do this to me?"
"No, I should be asking you that. You never cared about me, did you? So why do you care now?" He asked, crossing his arms.
"I've always cared!" She lies.
Ni-ki scoffs, "Saying that in front of your new boyfriend and saying that he was better not even 2 minutes ago? That's just straight up bullshit." Ni-ki picks up the flowers and throws it at her hard.
"Happy 3rd anniversary, two timer."
