Keerthi's heart raced as she listened to her father's conversation with her mother. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
Her father, the man who had always been so supportive and loving, was now trying to force her into a marriage she didn't want.
She felt a surge of anger and sadness, but she knew she had to stay calm and think clearly.
She has to fight for her love. She knows that this society will not her love for karthick. But her love is true she will fight for it
She slipped back into her room, her mind racing with thoughts of Karthick and their plans for a future together.
She knew she had to talk to him, to tell him what was happening and to come up with a plan.
She quickly grabbed her phone and sent him a message, her fingers flying across the screen.
"Karthick, it's happening. My father is trying to fix my marriage with someone else. I can't believe it. What are we going to do?"
She waited anxiously for his response, her heart pounding in her chest. Finally, her phone buzzed with an incoming message.
"Keerthi, don't worry. We'll figure something out. I'll come over tonight and we'll talk. We'll make a plan. Don't give up, my love."
Keerthi felt a wave of relief wash over her. She knew that with Karthick by her side, she could face anything.
Her mind racing with thoughts of their future together.
Little did she know, her father had already set the wheels in motion for a marriage that would change her life forever.
Keerthi stormed into the living room, her eyes blazing with determination. "Father, I need to talk to you," she said, her voice firm but shaking with emotion.
Rajan looked up from his chair, surprised by her boldness. "What is it, Keerthi?"
"I know about the proposal you received for me. I know you're trying to fix my marriage with someone else. But I won't let you do it, Father. I won't marry anyone else. I love Karthick, and I want to spend my life with him."
Rajan's face turned red with anger. "You're being foolish, Keerthi. Karthick is not suitable for you. He has no future, no stability. You deserve better."
Keerthi stood her ground, her voice rising. "You're not listening to me, Father. You're not listening to my heart. I love Karthick, and I won't give him up for anyone."
The argument escalated until Rajan's face contorted in pain. He clutched his chest and collapsed to the floor. Keerthi's eyes widened in horror as her mother and sister rushed to his side.
"Appa ! Appa ( father?), no!" Keerthi screamed, tears streaming down her face.
They rushed him to the hospital, the chaos and fear palpable. Rajan was admitted to the ICU, his condition critical.
Keerthi, Harini, and their mother were left in the waiting area, their tears and sobs filling the room.
"Why did this have to happen?" Keerthi wailed, her heart shattered into a million pieces.
"I only wanted to follow my heart, appa ,I didn't mean for this to happen."
Harini and their mother tried to comfort her, but their own grief was overwhelming.
The three of them held each other, their tears mingling as they prayed for Rajan's recovery.
The doctor emerged from the ICU, his face somber and grave. Keerthi, Harini, and their mother rose from their seats, their eyes fixed on him with anxious anticipation.
