awkward

Johnnies POV:
This is so stupid! Jake and I just adopted a kid. And we're not even dating!!! What is she going to call us? Is she going to call both of us Dad? I'm so confused. We're on the way home and it's very silent. It's really awkward. Her names Lauren and she's 12 years old. We thought that having an almost teenager will be easy. God we're so stupid why would we adopt a kid. We pull into the driveway and get out of the car. Once we get in the house, I take my jacket off and put it on the coat rack. Yes I know it's summer but the jacket looks cool okay? "Soooo I know we did all this at the adoption center but it's a little less awkward now. Hi, I'm Jake. That's Johnnie. We're your new dads. Andddd I can give you a house tour if you want. Actually, I'm going to give you a house tour. Okay anyway follow me." Jake blurts out. Lauren starts following behind him and he starts poitning out rooms.

Laurens POV:
This is so awkward but so cool. I can't believe that these guys are my dads. Like their style and everything is so cool. But honestly, I never thought that I would have 2 dads. But it seems cool so far. I've been really silent because my anxiety can not handle talking about someone I just meant. Like, I have to wait a bit before I get comfortable. I keep following Ja- I mean Dad around the house. We stop infront of a door and he turns to look at me. "So this will be your room. We can go shopping for stuff to decorate it with if you want." He says. "Okay." I say with a small smile. Johnnie walks over and it looks like he's on the phone with somebody. God, I need to get used to saying Dad. "Mhm bye." Johnnie says. "Tara's throwing a party tonight and she asked if we could go. I said I'll ask you first." He says. Jake kinda whispers to him a bit. I couldn't here what he said. Johnnie looks like he just remembered something. "But I should've just said no since we have Lauren now." He says looking over at me. Jake nods his head. I wonder who Tara is. I'll just ask. "W-who's Tara?" I ask kind of quietly. "Oh she's like our bestfriend. But she's also my ex-girlfriend. It's a very long and complicated story." Jake says. "Okay." I say. "I'll just text Tara that we can't go" Johnnie says as he pulls out his phone"
ty-So can you guys come?
jg-No sorryyyyy. This is a long story but Jake and I may have just adopted a kid named Lauren. So we can't just leave her home alone, especially on the first day of having her.
ty-OMG WHAT?? YOU GUYS DIDNT TELL ME ABOUT THIS! IM COMING OVER RIGHT NOW TO MEET HER.

time skip

It's been a bit and we all went to the living room. Were just sitting on the couch watching TV. I hear the front door open and I look over. Some girl with long black hair walks in. She's also really short. "Tara what are you doing here?" Jake asks. "Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that she was coming over. She said she wanted to meet Lauren." Johnnie says. Ohhhh okay. That's Tara. "Hiiii!" Tara says walking over to me. "Hi." I say. "You probably know already but I'm Tara. I know your Lauren." She says. "Anddd I know you still need to decorate your room so I was thinking that I could take you shopping." She said. "Okay sure." I say. "Alright let's go." She said. We both get up and start walking to the door. "Byeee!" Tara says turning to face Jake and Johnnie. "Bye. Have fun." Johnnie says.

At Sam and Colbys house

(wait little recap for this part: sam and colby have had lillian for a couple months but they haven't told anyone yet)

Sams POV:
I think today is the day that Colby and I are going to tell our fans about Lily. She said she was ready. And I hate keeping her a secret. Our fans already know that we're dating though. They just don't know that we have Lily. I set up the camera. Colby walks into the room. "Hey babe. What are you doing?" He asks. "I think I'm finally ready to tell everyone about Lily." I say. Colby gets a huge smile on his face. "I am so ready for this to happen." He says grabbing my hand. "Should we go get her?" I ask. "Yeah, you go get her, I'll wait here." He says. I nod my head and start walking to Lily's room. I knock on the door. "Come in!" She answers. I open the door and I see she's cleaning her room. "What do you need?" Shes asks, looking over at me. "Are you ready for me and Dad to tell everyone about you?" I ask. "Yeah, sure!" She says. "Okay just come downstairs when your ready." I say.

Lilys POV:
I open my door and go downstairs. I'm kind of nervous. I go to their recording room. "Okay I'm ready." I say. "Alrighty let's start!" Sam says. Sam presses the record button. I hide behind them. "WHAAAAT'S UP GUYS it's Sam and Colby!" Colby yells. "Today wre giving a little life update for you guys." Sam says. "So as you already know, we're dating. And we wanted to take our relationship a bit farther." Colby says laughing. "Dude why are you saying it like we're getting married." Sam says laughing. "But anyway, to take our relationship a bit farther, we..." Sam pauses. They move to the side and show me. "Hiii!" I say. "We have a kid." Colby says. "My names Lillian but you can call me Lily. I'm 11 years old. And I've been with them since like what the start of March?" I ask. "Yeah around March we decided to adopt Lily. And she's one of the best things that happened to us this year." Sam says. I just giggle a bit. "Okay so I guess that's the end of the video." Colby says, chuckling. He turns the camera off. "I'm excited!" I say smiling. "I know you are sweetie." Sam says. I go over and hug him. "Uh hey! Where's my hug?" Colby asks. "Sorry Dad." I say laughing. I walk over to Colby and hug him too.
