The process of recovering was pretty tough for both Vegas and Pete. At times Pete thought of giving up, but Vegas was always there to rescue. There is also THE VERY PREGNANT PORSCHE. Porsche was having all the weirdest combinations that can ever exist on this whole earth. Like kinn found him tasting a tooth paste and almost cried. And Porsche really liked for that toothpaste and started crying for it. So the family really left them together in that room so that they cry together and console eachother. Vegas was imagining if pete would have similar cravings.

Vegas was the most patient person on this whole entire earth. He has been very very understanding that Pete couldn't help but fall harder and harder each day. It's been 5 months since the accident. Pete was taking online classes and submitting the assignments online as well. He was walking properly again. Pete decided to give Vegas a very big surprise...

Three days later....

It was Vegas's birthday. In the afternoon, Pete took Vegas on a surprise trip to the countryside. Vegas did not want a lavish celebration. Vegas was yet a very simple person, but when it comes to Pete, he goes extravagant. They drove through winding roads lined with colorful trees, and Pete couldn't help but steal glances at Vegas, his heart filled with love.

Finally, they arrived at a secluded meadow, bathed in the golden light of the setting sun. Pete led Vegas to a spot overlooking a picturesque lake, where a picnic blanket and a basket of their favorite foods awaited them.

As they savored the delicious spread, Pete couldn't contain his nerves any longer. He took Vegas's hand in his and looked into his eyes, his heart pounding in his chest.

P: PHI' U MEAN THE WORLD TO ME... U HAVE NO IDEA HOW MY LIFE MIGHT HAVE BEEN WITHOUT UR ENCOURAGEMENT AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. I FEEL SOO HONOURED FOR BEING LOVED BY YOU. CAN U GIVE ME ANOTHER HONOUR OF BEING YOUR HUSBAND VEGAS???

Vegas's eyes widened in surprise, his lips curling into a wide smile. Tears glistened in his eyes as he nodded enthusiastically, unable to find his voice amidst the overwhelming rush of emotions.

V: PETE???

P: PHI' VEGAS, WILL YOU MARRY ME??

V: PETE.... (CHOKING ON TEARS) FUCK.... YES BABY...

Pete's heart soared with joy as he pulled out a ring box from his pocket, revealing a stunning diamond ring that sparkled in the fading sunlight. Vegas gasped in delight as Pete slipped the ring onto his finger, sealing their love with a promise of forever. Pete decided to propose to Vegas properly. Coz when Vegas proposed they barely knew eachother. Soo it felt a little obligated even if it wasn't . Especially because it was mostly an arranged marriage. But now, this was what Pete thought would show how he respects and loves Vegas with all his life after such a great care and healing.

They embraced tightly, their hearts overflowing with love and happiness. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the meadow as they shared a passionate kiss, sealing the moment in time. Vegas looked at Pete's face from a finger length distance, like many others. A very familiar feeling of joy and possession started to make chest swell with love and passion.

He slowly started into Pete's soul causing the hairs on the younger's stand up. A deep chuckle rumbled out of his throat as Vegas said....

V: BABY, YOU JUST STOLE MY LINES BABY... FUCK... THAT WAS STILL SOO SEXY.... I THOUGHT OF PROPOSING U AGAIN. BUT U WERE A STEP AHEAD...

Pete pulled Vegas closer as he looked at the dark orbs with swelling pride.

P: I HAD TO THINK VERY CAREFULLY COZ I KNEW U WOULD PLAN SOMETHING LIKE THIS... I LOVE YOU PHI'. I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO PUT THE ACTUAL ONE TO PROPERLY OWN YOU....
