Pete's whole world came to a halt as heard the heavy words settling in his senses. His kid was poisoned by God knows which bitch. His fatherly instincts kicked up as he finds himself in a car driving to the doctors office. He tried calling Vegas. But Vegas was in a very important meeting soo he didn't answer. But he left Vegas a voice mail about him going to the doctors office.

The news he received was shocking and horrifying. The baby had been poisoned, deliberately killed. Pete was stunned, unable to comprehend the cruelty of such an act.

He rushed to the doctor's office, his heart pounding in his chest.

P: DOCTOR, WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY??

D: AM SOO SORRY PETE. I EXTREMELY AM. I WAS VERY SUSPICIOUS ABOUT HOW THE BABY DIED AS I COLLECTED SOME OF BOTH OF YOUR BLOOD SAMPLES. THE BABIES BLOOD WHEN HE WAS TAKEN FROM YOU AND YOURS IN YOUR RECENT HOSPITAL VISIT. I UNDERSTOOD THAT THERE IS SOOO MUCH CONSPIRACY GOING ON AS THE BABY WAS POISONED THROUGH UR FOOD VERY VERY SLOWLY. IT TOOK ME QUITE A LOT OF TIME AS THE POISON USED IS ALMOST NOT DETECTIBLE WITH A GENERAL EXAMINATION....

Pete didn't let the doctor continue anything as he left the hospital running while being unbothered about the tear stained face.

The doctor confirmed the terrible news, and Pete felt a wave of anger and despair wash over him. How could someone do something so evil? His mind was hasy and was not able to comprehend where he is driving to. He let his muscle memory take control as he switched off his brain. Breaking Many traffic rules, he drove away from the hustling city...

Meanwhile, Vegas had just got home, he turned on his phone to receive the voice notes Pete had left him. Panic gripped him as he realized what had happened. Without a second thought, he raced to the doctor's office, desperate to be by Pete's side.

The cruel act made him extremely mad as went out of control. He knew they lost their kid. The kid that was about to bring happiness in their life, the kid that was just a living representation of their love for each other is gone. He thought it was because Pete couldn't handle the death of his biggest support. But it turns out someone was behind them. He couldn't think straight. First it was Pete's accident 1 and 1/2 years ago. Now it's their baby. Vegas was on a rampage but was also a crying mess to learn how cruel the world is being to his family. He didn't knew which God has actually cursed for whatever the sin they committed but it was such a cruel punishment for both of them.

This thinking process came to a halt as he sees himself waiting for the doctor that now entered his office. Vegas heard everything the doctor said about their dead son. But there was still a lot of alarm in his time. Vegas was confused and very depressed already. But the doctor spoke again this time gaining Vegas's attention once again.

D: VEGAS THERE IS SOMETHING EXTREMELY BIG GOING ON? I DONOT KNOW HOW TO SAY THISS...

V: DOCTOR...

D: VEGAS, WHEN YOU TOLD ME PETE WAS BEING EXTREMELY WEIRD YET IT LOOKS SOO NORMAL, WE DIDNT KNEW ABOUT IT. BUT I HV MADE MY TESTING WITH HIS BLOOD SAMPLES... ERIC WAS VERY PERSONALLY TAKING CARE IF THIS CASE. SO WE WERE ABLE TO FIGURE THIS OUT.

V: PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO PETE...

D: ERIC HV FOUND TRICYCLIC ANTIDEPRESSANTS IN PETE'S BODY...

V: I KNOW THAT PETE IS CONSUMING ANTI DEPRESSION PILLS?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT??

D: THEY ARE NOT JUST ANTI DEPRESSION PILLS THEY CAN CAUSE SEVERE MEMORY IMPAIRMENT...

V: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING???

D: THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU TOLD ME WHILE BRINGING PETE INTO MY OFFICE!!!

PAST...

Pete has been recovering well so Vegas trusts to leave him with the nanny. The nanny which was initially hired for venice declared she would stay and help Pete looking at the plight of her master's. All thanks to her Pete was also feeling very nice now...

But, Pete had been experiencing memory impairment issues. He would forget where he put his keys, what he had for breakfast, even I little distraction he forgets what he was doing. It was heartbreaking for Vegas to see his partner struggle with something so debilitating. Like right now...

Vegas just got back home from the office. He asks the nanny to leave as he looks after Pete. He came in and walked up to Pete and hugged him from behind. Pete let out a contended sigh as turns around and places a proper short kiss on Vegas's lips smiling happily. It's been a while since Pete let that smile out recently...

P: VEGAS I JUST MADE PASTA FOR OUR DINNER SOO GO FRESHEN UP QUICKLY...

V: PASTA AGAIN???

P: AGAIN?? DID YOU HV PASTA FOR LUNCH IN THE OFFICE...

V: PETE YOU MADE IT FOR OUR DINNER LAST NIGHT. WE ATE IT TOGETHER. I ATE CHEESE  AND URS WAS CHILLI.

P: REALLY??

V: YEAH DEAR...

P: I THINK I FORGOT. THESE I HV BEEN LIKE THIS. AM SORRY. I'LL MAKE SOMETHING DIFFERENT U GO TAKE A BATH FIRST ..

Vegas tried his best to take care of Pete. He made sure he took his medication, went to his doctor's appointments, and even set up reminders for him. But no matter what he did, Pete's memory continued to deteriorate.

One day, Vegas noticed something strange. Pete had been getting sicker and sicker, and Vegas couldn't figure out why. Soo he consulted Dr. Eric who also agreed to see for the case as he was a friend of Dr. Top.

Present...

Vegas was horrified. How could someone be so cruel? He didn't know where Pete was right now.

V: DO YOU WHERE PETE IS RIGHT NOW??

D: HE LEFT AS I WAS STILL TELLING HIM ABOUT THEIR CHILD. HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HIS SITUATION.

V: OK I WILL GO SEARCH HIM. YOU JUST ME THE REQUIRED MEDICINES HOME. I WILL TAKE CARE OF PETE.

With the knowledge that Pete's memory is deteriorating he knew he needs Pete in his eyesight all the tym. He knew where Pete could be at this possible situation. He knew Pete could be in this place. Soo he quickly rushed to that particular spot and stopped his vehicle in front of the graveyard.
He ran towards his sibs grave..

When Vegas arrived, he found Pete standing in front of a small grave, tears streaming down his face. Vegas wrapped his arms around his husband, holding him close as they stood together in silent grief.

As they stood there, Vegas knew that they would get through this tragedy together. Their love was strong enough to weather any storm, and they would emerge from this darkness stronger than ever before.

And so, Vegas and Pete stood side by side, facing the pain and loss together, knowing that their love would always be their guiding light in the darkest of times. Vegas was in a dilemma about all the heart breaking events happening at once in his life. And all of them only happening especially to Pete only... He was praying all the gods on duty to save his husband and help them out of this pit hole...
