A/N: hi, everyone, please be aware this story contains mature themes and strong language, domestic violence. Baby coast was in an abusive relationship and it is heavily talked about in here if you dont want to read it just skip over the part where it mentions her in the hut towards the end of the story. Also I don't know who I want her to end up with so whoever you guys wan tbh but I brought sam because he's fine as hell and thought he deserved better I dont know that much about him so bare with me a lot of it will be an oc.

COAST WAS SAT in the hut on love island doing her first interview for the show. The brunette was very nervous but excited to have this new experience.
"Tell us about yourself."
"Well I'm twenty-three years old, from Lihue Hawaii my dad raised me after my mom died. I grew up surfing and made it to the pro circuit, I'm sponsored by Rip Curl right now but I took a year off to come do this and really focus on my work. I'm a marine biologist and am currently working on becoming a marine veterinarian. It's the best part of my life, practically living in the ocean growing up I loved any type of animal or life I found. My shell collection is pretty huge."
Coast laughs and points to the shells currently in her hair and on her jewelry, "These are what I like to call Merillia originals." Pointing to the necklace and the two rings which is a golden chain with different shells strung across and two small bands with broken shells entwined sitting on her index and ring finger.
SHE WALKED INTO the villa and saw the other girls, they clearly weren't expecting a sixth girl but cheered and welcomed her all the same. Coast was wearing a light white tube top with a light wash denim skirt and her signature flower flip flops.
One of the girls offered Coast champagne, "Oh no thank you hon, I don't drink."
"Okay queen!" The girl in a bright green dress cheered.
"Aww thank you so much you're too sweet. So, tell me your guys names." She sat down on the couch next to the blonde. The girls introduced themselves.
Serena spoke, "Okay now you! Tell us everything."
The brunette smiled, "Hi, my names Coast Merillia, I'm a marine biologist. I grew up in Lihue Hawaii I'm twenty-three years old I collect seashells and I love just about everything in the ocean. Except plastic."
The girls laughed at her plastic comment and continued to fire questions about her occupation for a while. The group immediately got along and all realized how genuine of a person Coast was and how kind she was.
"What's your type?" Kaylor was the one to ask.
"Well I'm a sucker for tattoos and piercings but usually someone that can pull me out of my shell as I'm a very closed off person usually and someone that will make me laugh. They have to love the ocean obviously and will surf with me on the weekends after a long day." The girls all nodded and smiled.
"You give such strong beach girl vibes and I absolutely love it." JaNa was gushing over the sun kissed girl.
"Ah thank you, my dad always called me his little mermaid because he could never get me out of the water." The girls collectively laughed as they can picture a younger Coast playing in the ocean.
