𝐹𝑅𝑂𝑀 𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝑉𝐸𝑅𝑌 𝐹𝐼𝑅𝑆𝑇 moment people step foot onto the Roanoke house, they feel danger lurking. Everyone must watch death fall upon them like a layer of snow. When people see the wonders of Roanoke, crazy thoughts go through their mind and in response, they fight or they run. Either way, they all die in the end.

Every resident that has found solace in the Roanoke house has met a violent and untimely demise, all but one. The Lampad -- an underworld nymph -- has claimed this land as her own, even developing an obsessive ownership over it. Tales have been told of the Lampad nymph and her devilish ways. She's as beautiful as nature itself, but like nature, she can quickly devolve into horrific violence.

The Lampad feeds off of chaos, pain, and suffering. It is her only sustainability. Much like vampires, who feed off of the blood of others -- a result of death -- the Lampad terrifies all who surround her so her own power can flourish.

While ghost stories, haunted tales, and scary rumours have been told of the Lampad, she isn't truly a monster. All the Lampad wanted was peace in her quaint home, but people kept trespassing, thus turning themselves into prey. This Lampad has tried to stop herself, tried to leave people be, but she couldn't. The Lampad needed pain to survive.

It seemed that the only people who learned from past mistakes were the Polk's, the most famous hick family in town, to put it delicately. They had been hunting the Lampad for generations, they wanted her antlers to hang on their wall, but it proved to be quite difficult when she was almost never in her true form.

The Polk's wanted to buy the Roanoke house, they thought they might have a better chance at catching her since she still lives on the property, but somehow, it was for sale. A younger couple, the Miller's, were interested in purchasing the Roanoke house as well, but of course they weren't aware of its haunting past.
