𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝐵𝐸𝑅𝐾𝐸𝐿𝐸𝑌 𝐹𝐴𝑀𝐼𝐿𝑌 𝐹𝐴𝑅𝑀 was always quite isolated, much to the Brooks boys' dismay. It's true what people say about the deep woods; no one can hear you scream. No one heard Brooks' or his older brother cry out for help at the hatred of their parents. But now, with his family gone, Brooks' found peace on his farm, quaint quiet. Of course, Solange likes to interrupt that quiet.

Solange, the Lampad herself, was walking up the long driveway to the Berkeley family farm, trying to find Brooks, her old acquaintance. She was walking along the fences where she found Brooks in with the sheep. He was replenishing their food right by the other side of the fence, but his dog, Roger, immediately barked at the woman walking as soon as she got close.

Solange stopped dead in her tracks, not scared of this small, lesser creature, but she was quite annoyed by it. "My darling Brooks, would you mind calling off your bloodhound?"

"Roger." Brooks called out, which got the dog to immediately back down, moving farther away and laying down in the grass. This allowed Solange to step closer to Brooks, a fence still separating them as she acknowledged, "I didn't know your dog's name was Roger."

"He's named after Roger Taylor. Bryson's favourite drummer." Brooks hadn't looked up at Solange once, still focusing on his work in front of him.

Solange was lucky Brooks had brought up his older brother, it was a nice transition into the very reason she was visiting. "About Bryson actually...you can't just bring him up in front of people, especially new residents. You do know that when you say too much, you get the name Scarecrow."

Brooks let out a breath at the town-wide nickname he had been given. He wasn't the most popular within the small town nearby. He leaned his hands against the fence and finally looked over at Solange. "Did everyone move on from calling me Bruce Willis 'cause 'I see dead people?' That name didn't even make sense. Bruce Willis isn't the one seeing dead people in Sixth Sense."
