"I wrote a confession song to someone."
"I'm planning to sing it to him infront of many people."
"I will confess to him and see how it goes."
"Can you wish me a friendly good luck?"

Alwin doesn't know what to do when Rina told that to him while he's driving her home after work like what he always do.

It's been a month since they got home from the resort and Rina is having a comeback showcase tomorrow night.

She said she'll confess to someone.

Alwin's hands sweat and his heart starts aching.

"Is Adrian coming on your comeback showcase tomorrow?" he asked.

Rina smiled and nodded twice.

"Of course,"

Of course? Alwin already knew it. Of course Adrian will be there, Rina will confess to him tomorrow anyway.

Why did he even bother to ask?

"Are you going to come?" Rina asked.

"Am I needed there?" He doesn't want to hear the person he likes confessing to someone. It'll just break his heart more.

"Of course... You're my friend, right?" Rina replied with a genuine smile.

Alwin's heart shattered into pieces.

"You should be there. You're the one who gave me an idea to write it anyway. You said you'll support me whoever I like..."

Alwin remembered the time when he looked at Adrian and Rina also looked at the guy that made her flustered.

He's the one who gave Rina an idea to write a song for Adrian. And now, he regretted it.

"I'll go." Alwin said.

Rina's eyes sparkle.

Then she hug Alwin tight that made the guy shocked.

"Thank you Alwin... Thank you for being my friend." She whispered.

And by then, Alwin knows.

He needs to accept the fact that there's no way Rina would feel the same way he does.

There's no way that they can be more than friends—like what he wish to.

##

Rina's comeback showcase is already starting and even though Alwin wants to stay on his hospital office than to offer his heart for another heart aches, he still come to watch because he promised Rina that he will.

Rina is at the stage.

She's sitting on a chair while holding her golden guitar.

Alwin stays at the back so that no one would see him cry once Rina finally confessed her feelings to Adrian.

He saw Rina roaming her eyes at the audience—probably looking for an specific person, and when her eyes met Adrian's at the center, she started to speak on the microphone infront of her.

"This next song is a song that I wrote to someone as a confession. I've been hiding my feelings for him for a very long time already. He probably doesn't know that I'm in love with him and that he's been running in my mind all day... but after this, I know he will, and I'm ready to tell my feelings for him through this song."

Rina starts strumming her guitar for the intro. Alwin listened carefully. Even he will just get hurt after.
