LEO FOUND A DRAGON AS A FLIGHT TRANSPORTATION
As the group dispersed back to their cabins, Mae strolled leisurely with Cináed padding quietly behind her. She had just finished checking on Leo, ensuring his latest contraption wouldn't blow up, and Piper, whom she had lent a sweater to help ease the shock of her recent claiming by Aphrodite. Despite Piper seeming a bit distant, Mae made sure to apologize once more before leaving her to process.
She had also shown Jason to his cabin, making sure he had everything he needed before heading towards her own. Mae's steps were light, and she hummed a cheerful tune under her breath, her red fox companion's tail swishing lazily as he trotted beside her.
As Mae approached her cabin, she glanced back at Cináed, who tilted his head curiously. "Well, buddy," she said to him with a grin, "here's hoping we don't end up tangled in another mess like last summer. Though, knowing us, it's practically guaranteed."
Cináed woofed softly in response, as if in agreement, his eyes reflecting the trust and loyalty he had for Mae.
With a chuckle, Mae ruffled his fur affectionately before stepping into her cabin, ready to rest and prepare for the challenges that awaited them on their quest.
(A/N: Imagine Cabin thirteen is Hestia's Cabin and then Hades' Cabin is fourteen; so in total there are twenty one cabins in CHB)
Hestia's cabin was smaller than many of the other cabins at Camp Half-Blood. It had a cozy, welcoming aura, with a gentle hearth that always seemed to be glowing with a warm, inviting flame. The exterior was a simple, rustic design, adorned with vines and flowers that Mae often joked looked like a Pinterest board exploded all over it.
Mae and Cináed walked into Hestia's cabin, the warm glow of the hearth immediately making Mae feel at home. She took off her shoes and flopped onto her bed, stretching out with a contented sigh.
"Ah, home sweet home," she murmured, looking around at the cozy interior. The walls were lined with shelves holding various trinkets and keepsakes, each one telling its own story. It was like walking into a scrapbook, only without the embarrassing baby photos. Well, mostly.
