Rock With You (KHR)

The bell signifying the end of the last lesson had just rang, the ringing sound jolted Y/n awake, who was sleeping at the back of her classroom.

The girl yawned and stretched in her seat after Mr Hwang dismissed the classroom and left the room.

Students in the room were still sitting in their seats and chatting, some of them left early and some of them stayed in the classroom.

Y/n however, got up from her seat and made her way to the auditorium where her band members were practicing for the upcoming festival.

Y/n had yet to take part in practice because her electric guitar was being repaired after a little conflict with her younger brother.

Sure she was mad, but she wouldn't hold him to that for long, it was her brother after all and she couldn't just leave him in the dark just for something so small that could be fixed.

The student pushed the door open with her foot as her hands hid in the pockets of her black hoodie.

She made her way down the stairs, glancing up at her friends who were already setting up for practice.

Once Y/n reached the bottom, she was greeted by the four girls that stood there.

Minjeong, Y/n's best friend, put down her guitar onto a stand and made her way over to her friend.

"Did you see her on the way?" Minjeong teased, earning a well deserved slap on the arm from Y/n.

Y/n scoffed, "what are you talking about..." She rolled her eyes, "she's probably busy organising stuff..."

Karina who was on the drums, stood up from her seat, "if you came here earlier you would have seen her."

"She was looking for you actually." Aeri wiggled her eyebrows at Y/n who rolled her eyes once again.

"It's just a small crush guys..." Y/n dismissively waved her hand, "you're just making a big deal out of it."

"Y/n you really like her, we're not stupid." Ningning laughed as she adjusted the microphone stand.

Y/n scratched the back of her neck awkwardly, she actually had a huge crush on the deputy of student council, but just didn't want to admit it.

"I don't..." Y/n replied quietly, her change in tone practically confirming their thoughts of Y/n liking Haerin.

"Whatever you say." Minjeong laughed, "help us set up then." She went back to focusing on practice.

"Yeah sure." Y/n nodded as she went over to plug in the amplifier for Minjeong's guitar along with checking the speakers for Ningning's microphone.

Maybe about an hour or so has passed ever since they started practice, though the group of girls were known to cause trouble at school, they were also well known for their musical performances.

And because the Spring Festival was coming up, they were requested to do a performance for the school and the guests who visited.

Though it did take the school council a lot of convincing to do, the girls were quite stubborn and had only agreed because Y/n convinced them to.

So that's one of the main reasons why Y/n is 'leading', the group for the performance.

The four girls were too lazy to perform because they knew how much effort and practice it would take, but they ended up being convinced by Y/n anyways.

They just wanted to enjoy the Spring Festival and muck around like they usually do, but it seems like it won't be happening this time around.

"I'll be back soon!" Minjeong jumped off the stage and ran towards the door.
