It should be about time when Y/n comes home, yet it was another late night where Minji had to wait for her to come back.

Minji often had doubtful thoughts about Y/n's loyalty these past few days.

Perhaps that beautiful, elegant woman of hers might have someone else she could be seeing this late at night.

It was just a possibility, although it wasn't actually true.

It was just Minji's jealousy acting up once again.

Y/n had her own business to run, so that meant multiple contract meetings, conferences and presentations being held in one day.

Y/n didn't even know when she would get to finish work.

Some days she'd finish at 8pm, some days maybe 11pm and sometimes she had arrived back at home at 1am.

Sure it annoyed Minji. Okay, well, it didn't annoy her, it pissed her off way too much these past few days.

Either way, at least Minji was happy that Y/n even made it home.

But today was an exception to that happiness, tonight, Y/n had promised Minji that she would definitely come home early because they organised to go on a date night.

And it was actually Y/n's idea to go out for the night, so of course, Minji was over the moon when she was asked out.

This time around, Minji's patience with Y/n had completely been lost.

Minji was supppsed to meet her wife at the restaurant at 8pm.

So there she was, waiting for Y/n right at eight on the dot.

Maybe about ten minutes had passed, and there was no sign of Y/n what so ever.

Another ten minutes had passed, making it twenty now, and there was still no sign of Y/n.

So Minji decided to ring her up, pressing the phone to her ear in the hopes that Y/n would pick up and she would hear Y/n profusely apologising to her about her lateness.

But instead Minji was met with a blunt tone, signifying that the person she's calling couldn't be reached.

She gave Y/n one last chance and decided to wait a little longer, perhaps she was on the way here and just got stuck in traffic?

Yeah, maybe that's the reason she was late.

Afterall, Y/n promised she would be there tonight and she never breaks a promise.

A total of fourty minutes had passed and Minji reached a breaking point, she only ordered herself a glass of wine to keep her busy while waiting for Y/n.

So she paid for that and stormed out the restaurant. Furious with Y/n, she would definitely be picking a fight with her when she got home.

"You finally decided to come home hm?" Minji fired as soon as the door shut closed.

The woman was sitting on the sofa watching some tv once Y/n came home.

"I know I said I would be there Minji, but I had an important meeting about the next project in New York and–"

"I am sick and tired of your excuses Y/n!" Minji finally burst, "just one night! And you can't even give that up!?"

Y/n frowned, she knew she was in the wrong. She even predicted she would be scolded by Minji once again when she got home.

Y/n was still in her heels and work clothes when she approached Minji.
