Arranged marriage was never something Hanni thought she would be part of.

She wasn't really complaining to who she was married to, because she was the most beautiful woman she had ever set her eyes on.

The only thing that annoyed the hell out of Hanni about her, was how icy cold she was.

At first glance, Hanni could just see her cold exterior.

Her sharp eyes that pierced through your soul, her intimidating and judging gaze as she looked you up and down.

Hanni had always felt like she was on a ledge around her wife.

The only times where she had somewhat warmed up to Hanni was when she came home and Hanni had prepared dinner for her.

The most affection Hanni had gotten out of the older woman was a forehead kiss.

And that alone had brought Hanni butterflies.

Her heart stammered at the warmth of her lips on her skin.

Hanni longed to feel it again.

But she never could.

Her wife, Lee Y/n, was the CEO of one of the most largest broadcasting company.

Later, she expanded the company into both an entertainment and broadcasting company.

Perhaps having to deal with Y/n's cold personality wasn't that bad when Hanni was treated well and was bought everything she wanted.

New shoes? Y/n bought it for her.

New phone? Y/n bought it for her.

New car? Y/n bought it for her.

Holiday to Monaco? Y/n took her there.

All done for Hanni without hesitation.

Even though Hanni protested against her sometimes, Y/n was always successful in swiping her card for her wife.

And indeed, Hanni was forever so grateful for Y/n's 'acts' of kindness, but she couldn't help but want the older woman's attention.

That was all Hanni needed for her to be satisfied.

Hanni loved it whenever Y/n stared at her, even though it seemed like Y/n was judging Hanni, the older woman was just silently admiring Hanni.

Though the CEO never wanted to admit it out loud.

She never liked expressing her feelings to other people, she always thought it was unnecessary and was the main reason to create problems.

Hanni on the other hand was an expressive person, she was always direct with her wife whenever she did something she didn't like.

The next few days, Hanni would see that Y/n would fix her mistakes and never do something like that again.

Like when Y/n had a habit of leaving her coffee mug on the counter every morning.

It would always annoy Hanni because the cup would be stained at the bottom and would be hard to clean.

Hanni told Y/n about it and it has never happened again.

Even though it was something so small, Y/n still listens and does what Hanni wants.

Maybe it's Hanni that had the upper hand in this relationship afterall?

Y/n had a private event held at a venue she hired for tonight.

It was a connections event to help her younger cousin, Hyein, build her business, but also to help Y/n search for investors for her next project.
