Chapter 9

Ozpin: So what do you think?

Ozpin asked as he casually sipped from his mug. Infront of his table were 4 files, each containing information about my teammates.

Klaus: They got potential that's for sure but I never asked you why I have to be with them.

Ozpin sighs and gets up from his chair and walks towards the glass wall, looking towards the academy.

Ozpin: I believe they have what it takes to be one of the finest huntsmen I know. And if by the chance somthing happens in the future, I want you to look after them.

Ozpin again with the ominous and depressing stuff. I glanced at Blakes file once again. A member of the white fang...

Klaus: Why did you take Blake in?

Ozpin: Second chance, Klaus. Second chances are rare to come by, and I see Ms. Belladonna's desire to change and to fight for her justice. So that's the reason I took her in.

Klaus: Just like how you saw the potential in me huh?

Ozpin: Yes, and I'm so proud of how you grown up. Also I heard from Qrow  that he will be here during the Tournament.

Klaus: Qrow is coming?! Hell yeah!

Ozpin: Well I hope you show the same enthusiasm in your studies too.

Time skip

Briefing with Ozpin is always tense as he expects great things from, and to meet those expectations is the least I could do after he took me in.

Klaus: But come on Professor Ozpin!

Cut me some slack! I have to write reports and do my homework. I can barely manage them all together and to top it all of, I promised weiss I'll go with her to downtown. I made it my dorm and saw the girls changed into their combat clothes.

Weiss: It's 10:15 you dolt. I've- We've been waiting for you for 15 minutes.

Weiss pointed her finger at me accusingly. I sighed as I closed the door behind me.

Klaus: Sorry for making you wait guys. Ozpin wanted to see me. And I didn't know that guys were coming too

Yang: Yeah it was a last minute plan but decided it'd be great if we hung out as a team.

Scene Change

The streets of Vale were being decorated in time for the Vytal Festival. Red, yellow, and green streamers and balloons are proudly on display. Team RWBY is strolling through it all with an awed Weiss Schnee in the front.

Weiss: The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!

She said stopping and raising her arms in amazement. It was quite rare to see this side of her. I'm so glad I came with them.

Ruby: I don't think I've ever seen Weiss smile this much. It's kinda weirding me out.

Klaus: I don't know Ruby, seeing her smiling like this is kinda cute and refreshing from the cold gaze of hers all the time.

Weiss: I do not have a cold gaze also how could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!

Klaus: There she goes weissplaining

Me and Yang both sighed as we continued walking past the docks.
