~Elmore Cafe
Carrie was cleaning mugs in the kitchen, irritated that she had been assigned kitchen duty for her shift. Carrie was washing the mugs when she noticed her reflection in them. She stopped cleaning them and put a cup on the stand. She then began to express her feelings about the reflection in the cup. Perhaps it was the clothes, but she had no idea how lovely she looked.
The spectral figure of a young girl began to strike poses in front of her reflection before abruptly turning to face her image. A mischievous grin crept across her features as she began to sway her hips rhythmically while keeping her eyes fixed on the mirror before her.
"Damn, who knew I was this thicc?" Carrie was so focused on admiring her curvy reflection that she didn't notice the sullen teenager behind her. She just looked at Carrie for a few minutes and then pulled out her phone as Carrie made a fool of herself.
"Oh, you like that. How about this?" She lifts her dress to see her undies that start smacking her butt. Then, she starts to twerk again with her underwear exposed as the reflection has the word cream puff on it. Clare had enough of this on her phone and then alerted Carrie by shouting.
"What are you doing?" Clare poked her head out the window, which prompted Carrie to awake from her stupor.
Carrie freezes midway through twerk to admire her reflection in a mug. She quickly covers her backside, blushing in embarrassment.
"You're just jealous that you'll be nowhere near as hot as me!" Carrie then continues to wash the mugs, which are still red on the face.
"Whatever, Cream puff." Clare rolls her eyes and then goes back to the counter, waiting for a customer to place an order. The day was slow, and she got bored with the shift. As a result, she started to narrate her thoughts inside her head.
"Well, at least I have some peace for now." Clare was about to sleep, closing her eyes.
"Hey, where do you want this number." An unknown voice calls Clare.
"(Sigh) Just put it at table five ." Clare looks bored while reading a pamphlet from the Cafe.
"So over her?" The voice asked the moody teen whose eyes turned to the corner of the Cafe.
"Yes, over there by the window—William?" Clare looks surprised to see an eyeball with wings and a hand for legs wearing a hat and bowtie uniform similar to hers.
"Yeah?" William, who is at the table, places the number on the table and then turns his eye to see her.
"Why are you wearing an Elmore Cafe uniform?"
"I work here; I'm only volunteering here to increase my chances of getting a better job."
"William, this place is not a charity- Wait, what's with the speaker on your bowtie?" Clare points to the speaker.
"Oh, this? Alan gave this to me last night to help me speak to the family. It was supposed to be a birthday present, but they wanted to surprise me early." William points to the speaker and looks behind her.
"I guess I'm not the only one working here cause the prick and weenie are here as well. " He points to himself, and Clare turns around in surprise at what she sees. Darrel and Ocho also wear uniforms. Ocho is using a mop to clean the floors. Darrel was getting some menus to put on the tables but slipped on the wet floor and shouted at Ocho, who shouted back at the hot dog.
"They had to pay off for destroying the old coffee job a few months ago; I heard they got the info from Lapin, who saw them run away from a shadow monster that was after them," Carrie shouted in the back.
