It was the castle lab, it was a large room with a high ceiling many pillars and large long tables were placed in a circle, at it's centre was the artifact. this is the place where efforts to restore the broken artifact are done under the careful supervision of King Kratus.

They have made much progress fixing up many holes and scratches and working on the core of the artifact.

The core of the artifact itself was a red ball of energy with strange  geometric engravings on it, it was large and and very radioactive.

One of the scientists in the biohazard suit was inspecting the core, checking for anything weird and finding out what is the core made of.

The scientist shouted out: I have a breakthrough on what the core is made out off! loudly, dozens of others came near the scientist to inquire about this breakthrough.

The scientist showed his findings, it was a device with a chunk of the core's energy, the energy is red like the core,however it is slowly fading away being absorbed back into the core.

The scientist told: Its made of Crimson matter!, the rawest and most powerful and deadly form of EM wave energy!,
One sievert of crimson matter can kill one person in a day, so be must he extremely careful around the core!

King Kratus let in a small smile on his face seeing the potential of this power to cause more destruction, Bass who was right next to King Kratus was looking at the core with intrigue on his face.

Bass said to King Kratus So..this is the mysterious red energy Zero had, normally I associate Mega man with the colour blue but now it's red!,I guess the name change was a good thing, King Kratus replied back saying He pocesses a very destructive power.., they are lucky he is on their side.

King Kratus walked away with his hands on his back.Bass stared at King Kratus for some seconds but he looked back, looking at the core with a look of  fascination on his face.

Geo's house

Geo was sitting on his desk focusing on his studies and homework, he is trying his best to forget about the events of the battle, but it was tough, the scene of him getting his power used to destroy an entire castle keeps playing on his head, he tries his best to ignore it but he can't!

He tried doing his hobby of drawing but it didn't work, Geo put his head down trying to ease the pain from the battle.

Omega Xis materialized next to Geo with an annoyed expression on his face, Omega Xis shouted out: Geo,stop acting like a wimp,you are not a 5th grader anymore! to Geo,
Iris came out of the cabinet and confronted Omega Xis saying Let him handle it himself, he is still growing up

Omega Xis looked back at Iris with an irritated expression and said He is handling it terribly,sometimes I can't believe he used to be Megaman, he then facepalmed

Iris replied back with a serious tone, she said He still is Megaman!,I am gonna say this again and again but let him grow up, he isn't a crime fighting machine he is a teenager who is growing up.

Omega Xis growled back at Iris, tensions started to grow between them, but Geo then put his head up and then looked at them angrily.

Iris and Omega Xis looked at Geo and immediately stopped arguing, Iris went back to the cabinet and Omega Xis went back into Geo's phone.

After that Geo sat in his room alone contemplating, he wished he could have a normal high school life but ever since he became Megaman, his sense of normalcy, his innocence was robbed from him.

Memories of traumatic events started to re emerge, Luna's death at the hands of Joker, Andromeda, Ace's self sacrifice, the AMAKEN incident.
It started to pile up and up, it was too much!, Geo put his head down and kept trying to ignore them..

He mumbled to his himself angrily Its my fault Strong died!,it's my fault the park was burned to the ground, it's my fault Butch got humiliated and didn't come to school for days!, I made the team late, I rarely come on time,I made my Aunt,Uncle,Kazuma all worried..I have been the problem!, it's my fault!, I am the useless one!,

Iris and Omega Xis were getting more and more worried but they knew the shouldn't interrupt Geo.
