Emma bursts through the hospital doors alongside the nurses and the rolling bed that transports Henry's body. Henry's lifeless, limp body. So many questions run through Emma's mind. How did this happen? How can she fix it?

"Henry?!" She says as she shakes his shoulder. No response. "Henry? Please, can you hear me?" She says.

The nurses swiftly wheel Henry into a room, Emma trailing closely behind. Her heart pounds in her chest as she watches them attach monitors and IV lines to her son. Dr. Whale rushes in, taking immediate control of the situation, barking orders to the staff.

"Ma'am, let me take a look," A nurse besides her says.

"No! I am not going anywhere," Emma says as she shoves the nurse's arms off her. She strokes her son's head. Emma feels helpless, her hands trembling at her sides. She wants to do something, anything, but all she can do is watch.

Dr. Whale takes a light and checks Henry's pupils, "There's no pupil response." He turns to Emma. "What happened? Did he fall? Hit his head?"

Somehow, Emma placed the apple turnover she had gotten from Regina into a sandwich bag throughout the whole fiasco. She holds it up for Dr. Whale to see and says, "He took a bite out of this and just collapsed."

Dr. Whale checks Henry's mouth and shakes his head. "His airway is clear. Did he vomit?"

"He just ate this!" Emma tells him.

"He's not showing any signs of poison. So whatever is going on, this," He takes the sandwich bag, "Isn't the culprit."

"Then run the test! Figure it out!" Emma shouts. She can't do this. Just yesterday she was willing to leave without Henry with her. No all of a sudden she feels like her world is fading away at the thought of never seeing him again.

"It's like.." Dr. Whale says defeatedly. The silence of defeat hangs in the hair. Emma dumps out Henry's bookbag. Maybe just maybe she find hope. Hope in this dire situation.

The storybook seems to be calling to her. Like the only possible way for this to end is for her to accept who she really is. "It's like magic," She says.

Meanwhile, Regina stands at the entrance, guilt etched across her face. She watches as Dr. Whale performs CPR, the rhythmic compressions making Emma's heartache even more.

Regina's presence sends a wave of anger through Emma.

Regina lets out a small cry as she walks over to see her son.

She storms over to her, fists clenched. She pulls her to the closest closet and throws her in with rage.

"This is your fault!" Emma hisses, her voice shaking with rage. "You did this to him."

Regina's eyes well up with tears, her lips trembling. "I... I didn't know. I never wanted this to happen."

Emma's nostrils flare as she steps closer, their faces inches apart. "Wake him up!"

"I can't!" Regina says. She almost breaks down at the words. Henry. Her Henry was going to die because of her.

"Don't you have magic?!" Emma shouts as she pins Regina to the back of the cabinet.

"That was the last of it..." Regina says softly. She searches her brain for anything, anyone that could help. "But someone else can help."

"Gold?" Emma asks.

"Actually, he goes by Rumplestilskin."

----------------------------------------------------------

As the town of Storybrooke begins to wake from its magical slumber, Emma realizes that her journey is just beginning. She's not just a mother anymore. She's a savior. And she'll do whatever it takes to protect her family and her new home.

Regina, however, could not wrap her head around it. She was just crying in the arms of Robin and now she wasn't sure if she should even look to see the hatred in his eyes. She wasn't sure of anything actually. Her daughter, Raven, matches her hurried expression.

"No," Regina curses. She had lost.

"If I were you, Your Majesty, I'd find a place to hide," Mother Suripioer says.

Regina reaches for the edge of Henry's bed with tears in her eyes. "Henry, no matter what you may think or what anyone tells you, I do love you."

Regina finally turns to Robin who's heart and mind does not align and sees the hatred he has for her. But she couldn't think about that right now. She turns to her daughter and they rush out.
