Lando was P2. No matter how upset I was with him, I was still sitting on the edge of my seat. I was praying that he will manage to keep this up for the rest of the race, I know how much it'll mean to him to win his home race and I hoped he would be able to do it. Lando's mum was gripping my hand so tightly that I thought I was going to loose blood flow soon. Jules was sitting on my lap, hiding his head in my shoulder while Theo and Hugo were watching anxiously. My dad and Adam were both biting their nails and my mum and sisters were watching in anticipation.

"Yes! Get in Lando!" Oliver shouts as Lando overtakes Lewis to get into P1.

"Oh my god!" I cheer as the rest of the paddock screams in joy.

I was so proud of him, but now all he needs to do is keep this up. There was 33 laps left and it was pouring down with rain so I know he was going to have to go to the pit stop soon. I notice someone filming me and I give the camera a little smile before turning back to the screen to watch the race. It was so awkward when they randomly decide to just film you, but this was probably my last race that I'd attend for a while.

The race didn't end how we wanted but Lando got p3 and was on the podium. I hate how he beat himself up, however after today it wouldn't be my problem. I know it was just him going out with a friend but it was the fact that he never told me about his past with Magui. If I went out with a guy I used to fuck he would be just as mad as I was.

"Congratulations." I say to Lando after his family finished hugging him. I give him a quick hug and then step back.

"Thank you." He gives me a sad smile and it makes my heart ache. "Can we talk after I'm finished with the press conference?"

"My flight is in three hours, if you're done by then we can." I tell him, catching the attention of Lando's mum.

"You're leaving? I thought you were going to stay here." She frowns.

"I have a few last minute shoots that I can't get out of." I felt bad lying but I can't spend the week with Lando's family when I can't look at him without thinking about him and Magui. "And I'm going to Germany for the France game on Tuesday with my friends."

"Can't you come back when you're done?" Flo asks, pouting.

"I wish I could but I'm going on holiday with a few friends on Friday." I tell them. Me, Stella, Bella, Gigi, Olivia, Margo and few of the guys we knew from the last few fashion weeks were going to Portugal for a getaway.

"You're going on holiday?" Lando questions, "where are you going?"

"Yeah Stella organised it last night but we're going to Portugal for a few days." I don't know why I was telling him this since he doesn't seem to tell me anything but I just do. He nods and wipes some of the champagne that was dripping from his head away.

"Lando! You did so good!" Jules screams, running up and jumping on him.

"Thank you mate." Lando bends down and picks Jules up and spins him around making him burst into a fit of giggles. "Want to hold my trophy?"

"Can I really?" He looks at me for confirmation and I give him a little nod. Lando hands him the trophy and Jules almost drops it. "Maddie can you take a picture of us?"

"Yeah." I pull out my phone and snap a few pictures of them two. It was cute how much Jules adored Lando and how much Lando adored Jules even though they haven't known each other for long.

"Lando you're needed for the press conference." Someone comes up to us and says.

"I'll see you before you leave little man." Lando tells Jules giving him a big hug and then he turns to me. "I'll see you at the hotel."

"Okay."

I finished packing all the clothes back into my suitcase and double check the room to make sure I haven't forgotten anything, I send a text to the girls group chat and let Stella and Margo know that I was leaving in an hour. They were meeting me at the airport since they were coming back to Monaco with me. Cisca, Flo, Sav, Mila and baby Athena were sitting in the living room of our hotel room waiting for me to finish packing.

"Okay guys, I'm finally done." I say, collapsing on the sofa next to baby Athena and sighing. I bought a lot of clothes with me since I thought I'd be staying longer.

"I can't believe you're leaving us already." Sav pouts, laying her head on my shoulder.

"I know, but I promise when you guys are in Monaco we're going to have a girls night." I tell them, resting my head on top of Sav's.

"Aunty Maddie can I do your hair?" Mila asks, climbing onto my lap.

"Go ahead." I grin at the cutie sitting on top of me. Mila was one of the cutest kids I've ever seen and I immediately fell in love with her.

I spent the next half an hour talking with the girls and playing with Mila and Athena, then Lando comes back. He looked shocked to see his family members sitting in our hotel room, but he gave them all a small smile.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asks, picking up Athena off the floor and giving her kisses.

"We were spending time with Mads before she leaves us." Cisca tells him, kicking her feet up on the table.

"Ah okay." He nods placing Athena back on the floor, walking into the bedroom and closing the door behind him.

"What crawled up his arse and died?" Flo questions, rolling her eyes. "He's been in a mood all day."

I stayed quiet while the three of them discuss whatever what going on with him. Me and Lando wouldn't have time to talk since the girls were all here but I get a phone call to let me know that my car was downstairs to take me to the airport. My family were taking the jet back to Paris so I was travelling to the airport alone.

"Well guys, I hope to see you soon." I smile, giving all of them a hug and kiss as the concierge knocks at the door.

"Message us when you land and send us pictures of your holiday." Flo says, squeezing me tightly.

"Of course." I grin, "I need to go get my luggage. Would you mind getting the door?" Sav nods and goes to let the concierge in.

Lando hasn't come out of the bedroom since he got back and I was sort of glad, but now I had to go in there and get my suitcases. I walk inside and see Lando lying on the bed with his arm covering his face, he looked so sad as he glances up at me.

"Maddie, I'm so sorry." He says, standing up as I grab my luggage.

"Lando it's okay. We both moved so fast and maybe we just need some time apart to figure things out." I try to give him a small smile. "You need to sort somethings with Magui out and I need time to wrap my head around all of this."

"There's nothing to sort out with her, but I'll give you some time." He walks over to me to pull me into a hug and I let him. I don't know when I'll next be able to hug him again so I melt into him. I don't know how long we stayed like that but when Sav knocks on the door I quickly pull away.

"Okay, I'll see you when I see you." I smile sadly and don't wait for his response, dragging my suitcase out to the concierge. "Bye girls." I wave to them as I follow the concierge out the door. They shout their goodbyes as I close the door behind me.
