Belgium was like a second home to me. Maybe it was because I had family that live here. My cousin Henry was studying in Brussels so I was excited to see him. Like the two out of three of my brothers, he was a big F1 fan and I was going to surprise him and take him with me.

Lando's family were also here since his mum was from here, this is one of the only few races apart from Silverstone that she attends and he was really excited. We've spent the week together and he was really making an effort to make things work between us and look I've never been happier. We flew to Belgium together two days after we made up and it's just been great.

It was Thursday which meant media day for Lando so I took the time to go to Brussels to get my cousin for the race weekend. Lando made me take a security guard since we've been swarmed with fans and he was nervous about me being alone.

I knock on my cousins apartment door and it takes a minute for him to answer, he was always blasting music in his headphones. My aunty and uncle have told him so many times that he was going to end up with hearing loss but he never listens.

"Maddie?" He questions, confused by me standing at his door as he looks at Big Steve behind me. "What are you doing here?"

"Pack a bag for the weekend, we're going to Spa." I grin, watching his face light up.

"You're lying! Actually? We're going?" He shouts, making me wince. He was so high pitched when he was excited.

"Yes now hurry up or we're going to be late." I tell him, he immediately runs towards his bedroom leaving us standing at the door. "Come on Big Steve, let's get a drink."

The whole hour and a half drive back to the hotel we were staying at he didn't stop talking about how excited he was. Henry didn't pay attention to gossip and didn't have social media, he liked to stay out of the spot light of our family name so he didn't know me and Lando were a thing. I was going to surprise him with paddock and VIP passes and let him meet Lando and Oscar.

"Come on, let's go." Big Steve opens the door once we reach the hotel and there were hundreds of fans waiting there.

I give them all a smile and sign a few things as Henry puts his head down quickly walking inside, he didn't like being photographed and I respected that. He was never a fan of going out especially since I became a model and cameras followed me around.

Steve has to drag me inside as I was 'taking too long' apparently. Henry was waiting in the lobby and Lando had text me saying he was in our hotel room waiting but I know Henry wanted to drop his bag in his room first so we went there.

"Come on, I want you to meet someone." I say, pulling him towards my room a few doors away from his.

"Erm okay? Who?" He asks, as I open the door to my suit. Lando was lying on the sofa watching some random tv show but Henry didn't notice him as he looked around the room in awe. Our room was much nicer than his.

"Henry meet Lando." I introduce, finally getting both their attention.

"Holy shit. You're Lando Norris." Henry's jaw drops as he points at my unofficial boyfriend.

"Hi baby." Lando says as he gets up and gives me a quick kiss and then turns to my cousin. "Nice to meet you Henry."

"Baby? You two are dating?" My cousin splutters, looking at me with betrayal. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Surprise!" I smile brightly as I wrap my arms around Lando.

"Tu es en fait une petite merde." He shakes his head, sticking his hand out to give Lando a handshake. "I'm a big fan."
