Mushroom

In the evening, Adam felt a bit scared of the night, unsure of what had happened to him the previous night. He saw Nathan coming home after work and doing household chores when he arrived at Nathan's house.

"Nathan, what are you doing, buddy?" Adam asked.

"Just some chores," Nathan replied. "You?"

"I just came this way, saw you, so I thought I'd mingle with you."

"I'm going to cook noodles for myself. Do you want to have some?"

"Yeah, sure."

They only talked about the same event that Adam's grandpa had told Nathan. Adam's father, Robert Hart, had also gone missing for three days and was found in the field without any memory of what happened. Nathan mentioned this to Adam, which scared him even more.

After finishing eating, Nathan started getting his bed ready.

"Nathan, if you want to stay at my place, you can come. I'm going to bed. Good night," Adam said and left quickly.

Nathan knew why Adam was there and why he said that, so he went to Adam's house to sleep.

"Next time, you can just ask me if you want dinner or want to sleep over, okay?" Nathan said.

Adam just smiled and ignored him. He had already made a bed for Nathan on the floor. They talked about the game they played in school-they both were basketball players.

After some time, they fell asleep. Adam started making some noise. Nathan woke up, still dizzy, and saw Adam sitting while still sleeping. Nathan watched him, and suddenly, Adam disappeared.

Nathan couldn't believe his eyes. He went to wash his face, not knowing what to do. He found his torch and searched for Adam in the field but couldn't find him. Then he went to Kaya's house.

Mr. Ogima opened the door to Nathan's knocking.

"They came. I saw Adam disappear in his sleep. I searched for him in the field. I don't know what to do," Nathan said frantically.

"I know. Relax, nothing will happen to him," Mr. Ogima replied.

"What? What are you saying? He is missing. No, he disappeared."

"Yes, I know."

"What?"

"You have to calm down. Sit down first, then I'll explain everything," Kaya's dad, Richee Ogima, told Nathan.

Nathan sat down.

"Do you believe in monster or mystery creature" richee asked Nathan

"Yes, my dad and Adam's grandfather caged that shadow monster in an underground doom. They can't come outside, but they feel everything.

"I think they came out and know about Adam, so they got him."

Why?...Okay okay., he is still alive can we rescue him? Nathan asked richee

"Yes... We can"

"How do I rescue him?"
"Do they have any weakness?" Nathan asked.

"Light, so go after sunrise." Richee said but Nathan didn't care.

"Thank you, sir."

There were two hours until sunrise, but Nathan couldn't wait. He had a bad feeling and couldn't stay at home. Nathan went into the woods alone with a knife and a torch, searching for Adam. It was very dark, and he had never been this far into the woods before. He didn't know where they had taken Adam.

He randomly called out, "Adam, where are you?"

He stopped at a place that felt strange. It was an open area with no trees in the middle of the forest. Confused, he noticed a tree cut in half with a path inside it. He touched the tree and felt something, so he went inside. It was like a tunnel that kept going, and there is a big underground, but he didn't find anything and started to come back.

Suddenly, Adam appeared in front of him.

"Ohhh..." Nathan was scared.

Adam was standing still, seemingly asleep.

Nathan said, "Adam, are you okay? Adam, Adam!" But Adam didn't respond; he just stood there.

Nathan went closer, and Adam punched Nathan in the face. Adam kept hitting Nathan, who cried out, "Stop, Adam, it's me, Nathan!" But Adam didn't stop. Nathan hit Adam back, but Adam didn't seem to feel anything. Adam opened his eyes, revealing no pupils. Nathan, terrified, ran from him.

In the morning

Adam's Friend Came to adam's house for the holiday, he is searching for adam , While searching for adam he see Ace and release him from in his cage.

Ace running from the cage carl adam's friend followed him, Ace sniffing something from the filed, carl found adam and nathan in the filed. Carl didn't know what to do.

Richee also came that place in right time. He helped Carl wake them and get both into Nathan's house.

Richee told carl to leave the house, because they have contagious fever. Carl didn't want to but richee convinced him.

Nathan and adam waked up. Adam didn't remember a thing as usual.

Nathan told Adam everything that happened, but Adam was still confused.

How this is happened? Adam asked

Nathan showed his bandages in his head. You, you are the reason, you hit me at night. Nathan replying to adam, kaya intrupted

Kaya came to Nathan's house and asked about the previous night. Nathan explained what had happened.

Adam felt sick, said he was going to bed, and left Nathan's house, but he collapsed. Nathan caught him and brought him to bed.

Nathan felt something inside Adam's body, heavy and dark. Nathan told Kaya about it and called her dad. Richee came, checked Adam, but didn't feel anything unusual. However, Nathan did.

Richee saw a mark on Adam's hand. "Who put this mark on his hand?" he asked.

"What mark?" Nathan asked. Richee showed Nathan the handprint on Adam's hand. Nathan looking that handprint without blinking eyes. Nathan recognized it but didn't tell Richee about it.

Kaya stayed with Adam at Nathan's house to take care of him. Nathan and Richee went to Richee's house to research the situation.

In Richee's extensive library, filled with books on monsters, diseases, cures, spells, and dark magic, they searched for answers. Nathan was stunned by the library's spiritual vibe. Richee found a book about Umbra and handed it to Nathan. They spent hours searching until Richee found a reference to a rare glowing mushroom that could bind the shadow to a human body.

Richee explained this to Nathan, who asked to see a picture of the mushroom.

"Yeah... see," Richee said.

Nathan was surprised. Richee asked, "Do you know this mushroom? Have you seen it anywhere?"

"Yes, I have," Nathan replied.

Adam's grandpa had been harvesting this mushroom for many years and had a large stockpile. It was currently the season for harvesting, and Nathan had collected some mushrooms the day before. If they used these mushrooms, the shadow couldn't escape from Adam.

"If we do that, the shadow will be trapped and die because it's not night," Nathan said.
