Chapter 11

Lexi

As soon my head hit the pillow I feel into a deep sleep, I didn't wake up once. I think it was the best sleep I have ever had. I got awaken by Leo shuffling around, trying not to wake me.
"Sorry, did I wake you?" He said in his croaky sleepy voice. I shook my head and smiled.
"What time is it?" I asked, "I have plans with Sophie today do you want to come?"
"Sure." He replied. "It is 9:00, to answer your question."

We laid in bed a bit until we decided to get up and get some breakfast. When we entered the kitchen we found a note from Alyson saying gone to the shops be back around 10:00 xx. I got there before Leo so I shouted through to his bedroom while he got dressed to tell him. In the meantime I didn't want to go snooping thought cupboards looking for food so I just sat on the sofa. Shortly after Leo came through, looking tired and rubbing his eyes.
"What do you want for breakfast?" He asked me as he leant on the counter, moving his hair out of his face. "No pancakes today sorry." He added, smirking.
"Lucky charms please." I asked him,
"Coming right up!" Leo said trying to sound awake. I thanked him and went to get ready. When I came back Leo was sat at the island eating his cereal with mine waiting next to him. 
"Sophie said her boyfriend also likes basketball, so we are gonna meet her at the courts." I said, hopefully Leo and James get along. Oh my god, we could go on double dates any everything, it would be so nice.
"Yeah." Leo agreed.

Leo

After Lexi told me about Sophie's boyfriend liking basketball I made me want to meet them more. My mind has been stuck on prom, but Lexi hasn't mentioned it again. While we were eating our breakfast my mum and Becky got back from the shops.
"Morning." They both said as they walked past us to put the shopping away.
"Morning." Lexi said back, "Today Leo and me are going to the basketball courts and meeting Sophie and her boyfriend." She told them.
"Okay, but be back at home by 16:00 because I want you to have some time with your sister." Becky said, "I repeat, home, not here."
Lexi rolled her eyes sassily and I smirked at her.

Becky

I was okay with Lexi and Leo being together but I know from experience that if they are together all the time it won't work out. Although it seems right to be together all the time, it isn't. Also Lexi hasn't seen Maddie for pretty much two days. I asked Lexi what time they were meeting Sophie she said for lunch so I'm assuming around 12:00, it was currently 10:15 so they didn't have to set off for another hour and a half.

Lexi

Leo has probably completely forgotten about prom, he most likely doesn't even care. I do though. I think we are close enough for me to ask him again, but that doesn't mean I'm not nervous. When we got to his bedroom I asked him,
"Leo, your mum mentioned it was your birthday soon." I mentioned,
"It is." He confirmed, as though he knew something,
"Well the prom is on the same day, so we could do that for your birthday." When I said this his face turned into a huge smile and he hugged me.
"Yes! That is such a good idea!" He exclaimed into my shoulders, he moved his head from my shoulders and lips onto mine I fell backwards laid on his bed. We entertained ourselves like this until my mum reminded us from the kitchen that we were meeting Sophie. On the way out I told my mum our plans for Leo's birthday and she said she would tell Alyson.

Becky

When Lexi left the door she smiled at me, I'm so happy for her.
"Lexi said it is the prom on the day of Leo's birthday so they were thinking of doing that for his birthday." I informed Alyson.
"Okay, that's fine." Alyson agreed.
