Chapter 17

Leo

As my mum and I sat on the bench waiting for the police to finish their investigation I couldn't help but wonder where Toby was and what happened to him. I kept taking deep breaths in order to keep myself calm.

Toby

I had no idea where the men had taken me too, when they opened the door to come and see me it was dark. I just sat in painful silence as the main man put a blanket in with me, not sure why because my arms were tied up. I just look up at him innocently whilst he gave me an evil smirk and kicked me for no reason what so ever. I didn't make any noise in case he hurt me again, he left the van and left me all alone in the dark. I wondered what Leo and mum were doing, did they even know I was missing? I tried my best to go to sleep, my mind just couldn't stop going in circles. As the night went on my emotions got the best of me so tears began to dribble down my face, I was cold, lonely and had no idea where I was. It was like hell on earth.

Leo

The police started to walk towards us, although I had only known Toby a few days we had created an incredible amount of love and care for each other. The police said there is no trace of Toby and they can't do anything else, I got emotional with the new arrival of information.
"I think we should go home." I sniff to mum and she nods her head, I realised I hadn't told Lexi any of this. "Can Lexi come over I need someone to talk to." I asked mum,
"Yeah tell her to bring Becky over as well." She sniffed, I immediately pulled my phone out and started to text Lexi as we slowly walked home.

When we arrived home I went straight through to my bedroom, that didn't help though considering I slept in the same room as him.
"Where are you Toby?" I mumble to myself holding his favourite teddy. My door slowly opened and I saw my stunning girlfriend walk through the door.
"Hey." I greet her through teary eyes. She comes and sits next to me, we didn't really talk we just hugged. Even just her presence lightened my mood slightly.
"It's okay, we will find him." Lexi comforted me. She continued to sit with me with her arms wrapped round my shoulders my tears soaking her shirt.
"What if we never find him?" I sniff,
"We will and we will do everything we can, so if we don't find him, which we will, we know we have tried our absolute best to find him." Lexi whispered into my ear.

Eventually we laid down in bed and I calmed down. The whole time I was snuggled up into her chest, normally it was the other way round but it felt nice for someone to look after me. Lexi put gossip girl on to watch, I don't like it but I didn't really care in that moment my brain was full of where Toby was. Every so often she would check up on me but the answer was always the same.

Lexi

I felt absolutely awful for Leo and Alyson. Leo had just met his brother for the first time which he knew nothing about and now he has lost him.  It felt good comforting him but I knew it wasn't helping much but I think Leo was just grateful my company and to know I wasn't going nowhere anytime soon.

I gave Leo a light kiss on the forehead as he cried into my chest, I saw his teary eyes come closer to mine and I felt his dry lips melt into me. His tongue slowly slipped into my mouth and our kiss deepened. He felt his hands explore my body. I noticed his tears slowly were drying up which made me feel better to know he was feeling better. Leo's lips made their way down to my neck and his hands to the hem of my shirt and just stayed there fiddling with it. He would occasionally leave a little nibble on my shoulder. After a while he pulled away from the kiss. I smile at him and stroked his jaw line.
"I love you." He sniffed.
"I love you too." I reply with a kiss on his forehead and I pulled his head towards my chest to rest on it again. I feel Leo's tears begin to wet my shirt again which causes me to get a little emotional too knowing how bad Leo is feeling. I gently stroke thought his hair hoping to calm him.
