Chapter 14

Lexi

I knew that Leo would go straight to sleep, he was so tired. I felt so bad for him, but I'm also so happy he's okay. Maddie must of been tired too because she didn't say anything bad or offensive. I swear she's autistic or something because a 11 year old should know not to say stuff like that.

When I woke up the next morning I remembered about Sophie, not gonna lie I completely forgot she existed with everything that happened with Leo. I called her to make sure she knew I wasn't mad at her, no answer. I texted her basically a paragraph explaining why I had been distant. What about prom? We were going to go together, well Leo and James as well. I hope she's not mad at me, I don't know what I would do. Leo is pretty much my only other friend, but it's not the same. He's my boyfriend it's different, I can't talk makeup and clothes with him. He gets me every other way though.

"Maddie is going out with dad today. What would you like to do?" My mum asked me as she entered my room. I had began to cry thinking about Sophie, I felt so emotional that morning.
"What's happened?" Mum asked conercingly as she sat on my grey bed sheets. I told her everything, and she brought me into a tight hug.
"Prom is next week, why don't we go shopping for that?" She suggested,
"I was going to match with Sophie, but we could go with Leo." I cried.
"Do you want me to give Alyson a call and get them to come over?" My mum suggested, I nodded and she left my room to call Alyson.

Alyson

I got a call from Becky, it's not like her to call at 9:00 in the morning, I picked it up anyway.
"Hey, could you and Leo come over please, Lexi needs Leo." Becky started,
"Yeah sure, Leo is still in bed but I will get him up. Is everything okay?" I asked, I was a bit worried because Becky didn't sound herself.
"Yes, just Lexi is a bit upset over her friend and she asked if she could see Leo." Becky answered,
"Okay, we will be right over." I said in order to end the call.

I walked into Leo's room to see he was already awake,
"Can we go to Lexi's house?" He asked before I even had time to begin to speak,
"Yes, that is what I came in to ask you. Right get yourself dressed and you can get something to eat at Becky's." I added encouragingly. He jumped up out of bed as I left, I've never seen him get up so quickly. Around 5 minutes later Leo came through to the kitchen,
"Ready to go?" I asked and he nodded.

Leo

I wanted to see Lexi so bad! I hadn't properly seen her since I woke up, I barely remember seeing her. Also I needed to make sure I was there for her when she's upset. I walked faster than I usually would to get to their house. I have never been to Lexi's house before. She had been frantically texting me about Sophie and how worried she was about their friendship. I followed my mum the whole way because I didn't know the way. The house was very different to ours, it was an actual house rather than a tiny little flat on a dodgy street.

When we got there Becky greeted us at the door.
"Hey, is everything okay?" My mum asked as she hugged Becky, she nodded.
"Lexi, Leo is here!" Becky shouted to Lexi. It was an average size house with a modern looking living room and kitchen. I took in my surroundings as Becky guided me to Lexi's room. When I arrived at Lexi's room I knocked on the door,
"Come in." I heard her sniff and I entered the room. She shuffled to one side of her bed in order to create room for me to sit next to her. Her room was very girly, a big mirror on her wardrobe, a vanity and fairy lights. I sat on her bed and gave her a warm hug,
"Hey, you okay?" I whispered, I knew the answer but I didn't know what else to say.
"Not really, Sophie has left me on delivered for 2hours now. Normally she gets back to me with in 5 minutes." Lexi cried into my shoulders, I began to kiss her neck. I stopped and looked at Lexi and she was smiling at me. Although she had been crying she still looked beautiful, I admired her for a few seconds. I moved to lay down next to her,
"Thank you for coming." Lexi said to me, she had calmed down now.
"Anything for you." I replied and kissed her again.
