"Oh it's a bit chilly today" Winter said as she
walked out of her apartment building, checking
that she has her laptop and keycard with her, feeling the cold breeze on her face.

It was early in the morning on a Friday and her only class, which was criminally long, would start at 3PM. She hoped it wouldn't be as exhausting as last time, especially with the proffessors questionable behaviour in some instances.
With music blasting in her ears to try keeping herself awake, she started walking towards the library to get her homework done, admiring the trees with their orange-ish leaves in the process.
Thankfully her apartment is close.
She had a growing habit of checking her phone constantly, usually to check whether a certain someone had posted.

This habit wasn't new though, she kind of had it built-in from whatever was fed to her emotional health during highschool. Nothing yet this morning. She usually posts in the afternoon anyway. The weather was unusually nice today, even with the harsh wind. After getting a quick snack, a chocolate filled croissant, for breakfast she went to find her favourite spot in the library to get to work, she still had a lot to do. She tiredly sat down and opened her laptop but got distracted for a bit until someone sat near her. This was her favourite spot for a reason but still, it was strange to see her at this time. Hiding her smile, all she could think about is whether she had added another class to her major.

A class they would share.Winter would see her more often. She doubted if she'd have the energy for that but still enjoyed dreaming about it for a second. Wait.. she was right there.. she could literally just go up and ask about her classes, or would it be too much to ask from someone she barely speaks to... After deciding that it would be rude to interrupt her, she admired how pretty she is for the rest of her time at the library and really only interacted with her for a split second, which was only a smile and a wave. After completing her work, she reviewed her proffessors notes and killed some time doodling on her textbook before looking for what she had to read until next week. The librarian wasn't there yet so it took some struggle.

Noticing Karina leave, she rushed to get the book that she had finally found,as she had decided to follow her really distantly, to try guessing the location she would go to, dropping her book in the process. She picked up the book and hid behind a shelf as an attempt to go unnoticed. Anyways, she took awhile but was able to guess that Karina was going to the café nearby, so she took another route to get there first as to note down Karina's order
...for research purposes.

She ordered something nice and doodled on her notebook until Karina walked in. She was alone again, like most of the time. God she was stunning. She quietly listened to her and wrote what she heard to the page of previously written orders. She seemed to go for a caramel drink quite often.

Continuing her "doodling", she got distracted and noticed that that their jackets matched and it made her day much better. Subtly glancing at her every once in awhile, she finished her drink and decided to leave a bit earlier since she does need to get ready for her class in about almost two hours, also desperately needing a nap .

But as she was walking back to her apartment, she felt a tap on her shoulder. As she turned back her heart sank for a split second . It was Karina. Her mind immediately got scrambled, trying to figure out why her crush would randomly approach her, especially since they don't interact often.
Karina's tone was a bit confused as she spoke,

"Hey, sorry to bother you but I want to ask why you've been following me?"

"Oh- sorry!" Winter anxiously uttered before she ran away as fast and as far as she could.

She was trying to shake the thought that her crush thinks that she's a creep, especially now that she's running away from her after being asked a fair question. Why did she decide to run ? She just missed an opportunity to talk with her! Whatever. She had tried to keep the stalking at a minimum, but to be honest it was a matter of time until she would've noticed anyway. She tried to catch her breath behind a random building, closing her eyes, her thoughts were running faster than she just ran.All she could hope for was to be able to catch her at school later to apologise... scratch that -
