LOKI parkedthe car in his driveway, he locked his car walking up to the porch. Patting himself for the keys, he realized he didn't have it on him. Loki knocked on the door a couple of times and kept knocking until Leilani swung the door open.
"You don't got a key, why are you knocking?" Loki smacked his teeth mushing Leilani face inside before walking in himself.
"Shut up, I forgot it." Loki said before looking around the couch and saw everyone had left."I see your flock left."
"Yeah they just left about thirty minutes ago, you dropped off Kaiser?" Loki nodded plopping in the couch as he shook his head.
"Ain't no wonder he turned out like that man." Loki said shaking his head.
"Who? Kaiser?"
"Yeah, I had dropped him off and his dad or step dad or whoever the fuck he was, was tripping. He was calling Kaiser all types of names and shit and then he tried to step to me." Loki informed
"You got into an arguememt with him?" Leilani asked concerned sitting down in the couch. "Yeah but that's only cause he put his hands on Kaiser, was jacking him up and shit. I was tryna make sure he okay."
"Damn was he okay? Did yall fight?"
"I ain't fighting that old ass nigga, he seemed to be ok when I left him but you should call him and shit, see how he feeling." Leilani nodded.
"Yeah i'll make sure to do that, it figures why he don't talk about his home life like at all. He just told me his parents don't like for him to be out and about and shit." Loki sighed.
"Having people like that raising you can leave a kid fucked up." Leilani shrugged nudging Loki."We turned out alright."
"We? You mean me." Loki joked making Leilani smack her teeth and roll her eyes.
"I turned out fine, thank you very much."
"Cause of me." Leilani flicked him off as they laughed. Leilani laughter died down as she got quiet and looked at Loki.
"What?" Loki asked noticing her get quiet.
"Did mom text you about me?" Leilani asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It ain't nothing you need to worry about Leilani." Leilani furrowed her eyebrows and frowned angrily.
"What her ass say?" Leilani asked instantly getting angry, her mom was always talking shit and threatening them.
"Why does it matter, it doesn't do us any good to entertain her. Let it go."
"What did she say?" Loki ignored Leilani grabbing the remote and turning on the tv. Loki didn't like engaging with his mom and he disliked when Leilani did it also, her words didn't affect him but Leilani? She took it hard. She tried to act tough and sometimes even angry but he knew that was all just an act. The last thing he wanted to do was be the cause of her hurt by telling her what his mom said.
