KAISER walked in the kitchen as Leilani was in the refrigerator bent over looking for more drinks to put outside. She had enough alcohol and liquor but she needed something that could act as a good chaser. She was trying to choose between fruit punch or cranberry juice. Kaiser not making much sound walked up behind her.
"Hi-"
"Oh shit!" Leilani cussed jumping up as she quickly slamming the refrigerator closed and looked behind her, she saw Kaiser and immediately started laughing as Kaiser frowned.
"You scared the hell out of me, don't be creeping up on me like that." Kaiser frown deepened even more.
"I'm sorry." Kaiser apologized, Leilani smiled pushing Kaiser shoulder slightly.
"Don't look too serious about it, you scared me but I promise i'm fine. I'm easily startled." Leilani reassured, Kaiser smiled softly. "You are?"
"I don't seem like it do I? Imma scaredy cat, foreal." Kaiser nodded slowly as Leilani opened back up the fridge taking out both juices, that way they would have variety.
"Did Loki open the door for you?" Kaiser nodded."Yeah, he's nice." Kaiser said smiling, Leilani rolled her eyes playfully.
"He has his moments." Leilani joked. "Grab those tray of cups for me and let's bring this out in the backyard." Kaiser grabbed the tray of cups while Leilani grabbed the juice and Kaiser followed her to the backyard. They laid everything down on the table as Leilani sighed.
"I think that's enough setting up, I'm tired" Leilani sighed fanning herself, it was definitely too hot for her to be moving up and down.
"I can finish whatever you need done." Leilani shook her head."I wouldn't have you do that, I'll just ask Loki."
"By himself? That doesn't seem fair."
"You see them muscles on him? They need to be put to use." Kaiser laughed a little.
"So what will we do?" Leilani smirked.
"Smoke." Leilani said. "Your last experience wasn't that good cause you got hit in the face but this time it'll be just us so we can chill, smoke and talk. I wanna get to know you."
"You do?" Kaiser said not believing his ears. It wasn't often that people wanted to get to know him. It wasn't often that people set out to talk to him and befriend him. Kaiser sometimes felt that an unknown dark cloud was looming over him that told people to stay away and stay alert. Kaiser had been isolated his whole life and this was the first real time that he found someone actually liking him.
He couldn't believe it.
"Why do you always sound so surprised? You're good looking and nice." Kaiser shrugged.
"People didn't like me, I was a loner a lot of the times." Kaiser admitted, Leilani frowned.
"Why?" Leilani asked, Kaiser lowered his head slightly.
