LOKI gave a small smile to his father's gravestone holding his favorite flowers in his hand, baby's breath.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF

LAHMEEL CARTIER MYERS SR.

A MAN WAY TOO GENTLE FOR THIS WORLD.

DECEMBER 1, 1972 - June 12, 2015

Loki let out a deep sigh feeling all the same old feelings come rushing back. The painful feeling of loss, mixed in with all the joy he felt when his father was alive. The sound of his voice, the deepness of his laugh, the happy glint in his eyes whenever someone called them twins. Everyone in their neighborhood  always said that his father basically made Loki all by himself, that's how much they looked alike. Loki always figured that's why his mother hated him the most, didn't make it any better that he was named after him.

Lahmeel Cartier Myers Jr, but he had went by Loki ever since he could remember. A nickname given to him by his father for being extremely mischievous in his youth.

Loki touched the grave stone running his hands across it. He bent down setting the flowers down as he gave another small smile.

"Wassup, Dad? It's been awhile." Loki said still remaining crouched down, he carefully moved to the side making sure not to step on the flowers taking a seat beside the headstone, resting his back on it. Shutting his eyes while looking up, Loki breathed in the fresh air and took in the hot sun that shined on his face, taking a moment to gather his thoughts before he began.

Loki had a lot on his mind and that wasn't like him. Loki was at a place that he felt like he could talk to no one because he didn't think no one would truly understand him. The one person who always seemed to? Was now gone. Loki knew talking to his father was a lost cause. He never wanted to spend his life dwelling and talking to someone that was no longer here? No matter how much he loved and adored his father, Loki couldn't bear the constant reminder that he was no longer here so he chose to stay away. The very last time he saw his father was in his casket, not even being able to stomach the burial.

    But.

Loki found himself at a standstill, a rock and a hard place and at this time? The only person he could truly think of to help him is his father. He wanted to believe that sitting down, visiting and talking to him could give him some clarity or at least a peace of mind. He had no clue what was going on in his life right now and he needed reassurance from anything at the moment.

"I'm guess you're  probably hurt I haven't been here to visit you huh? Shit has just been hectic you know? I ain't forget about you though. Came with your favorite flowers and I also came to get some shit off my chest. Life been kicking my ass lately." Loki started.
