🎧 the adults are talking . the strokes
y/n woke up, shifting as she sat down rubbing her eyes trying to recall the events yesterday. right, there was the debut, then delores, then weird people in masks. y/n groaned as she felt her body in pain as she stood up seeing herself dirty in front of the mirror.
she thought of taking a quick shower before grabbing a new pair of uniforms and teleporting outside her room, "right...five."
she walked to his room and opened the door, "fiv—" she paused as she saw him seeing a cut in his shoulder, they stared for a while before she closed the door muttering a sorry but in realization, she teleported inside the room.
"come on, give it." y/n said, avoiding gaze as she stretched her hand signing to give her the needle. on how much she hates pain, seeing shit like this, or doing things like this, she still moved to sew it for him. five silently just stared at her doing so and looked away to realize he was staring too much.
as she was done she asked, "why didn't you say so you were hurt?" putting a bandaid in the same thing she sewed. "uh, well...you hated blood. and you were already tired. and it's not a big deal."
"and there you go again, it's a big deal to me, five." y/n replied as she stood up, looking away as he was buttoning his polo and getting himself dressed. he sighed, "okay, sorry."
silence overwhelmed them as five spoke, "how about you? aren't you hurt?"
"no?" she confusingly replied as she tapped her shoulders and legs but no sting then looked at her hand, "a few scratches, i gu—"
before she could finish her sentence, five grabbed her hand and treated it putting bandaids around her scratched finger that she got into picking up broken glasses so. she just stayed silent letting him do what he wanted as she looked away.
"y/n, whatever what happens, never risk your life for me, okay?" five suddenly said as y/n snapped in her thoughts. she opened her mouth to answer and ask about it, he smiled patting her head, "i'm taking you with me to MeriTech, get ready."
she just blinked as she watched him put delores into a big bag and put it around his shoulder as she sucked her lip in trying to progress what he just said. he opened the window to go out there and looked behind, "you coming?"
"uh, oh! right."
five let y/n go down first the stairs noticing klaus busy with who knows and hopped down to the ground. as five got down next, "i'd ask what you're up to, klaus. but then it occurred to me...i don't care."
"hey." klaus laughed a bit looking at the two, "you know there are easier ways out of the house, buddy?"
"this one involved the least amount of talking." five replied hoping down the ground next to y/n, "or so i thought..."
