"ah, shit." y/n commented, as the two of them arrived at the area, it was the academy indeed that was broken into pieces. the smoke in the sky evidently could be seen, indicating that something was badly wrong. the air was thick with y/n stood outside, her hands covering her mouth in disbelief.
smoke and rubble littered the ground, and the structure was reduced to a pile of twisted metal and burned wood. it was a sight too horrifying to even comprehend.
"guys." five called out to see everyone alive, y/n then followed him from behind in relief to see them, "thank god, everyone is still in one piece." y/n commented.
five then catching his breath, he finally spoke, "this is it. the apocalypse is still on. the world ends today."
"i thought you said it was over?" luther asked stepping forward, "i thought too, okay? i was wrong." five replied as he raised the newspaper that was in his hands on the top of the book they both exchanged saying, "this newspaper, i found it in the future the day i got stuck. the headline hasn't changed."
y/n clutching at the book in hand, she stayed silent listening to the situation.
"no, that doesn't mean anything. time could've been altered since that newspaper came out this morning."
"you're not listening to me. when i found it, i assumed this place came down along with everything else. but here we are. the moon's still shining, the earth is in one piece, but not the academy."
klaus then snatched the newspaper from five's hand as he commented, "i'm confused."
"then listen to me, you idiot!" five scolded as he tried his best to explain the situation, "vanya destroys the academy before the apocalypse. i thought harold jenkins was the cause, but he was the fuse. vanya is the bomb. vanya causes the apocalypse."
realizing something, all this time vanya had powers and y/n didn't know. but she did possess her meaning she have that power within her too, but it's very explainable either way because the old man said to her that she can copy abilities but can't use them if she doesn't know how or didn't see how to use them.
helicopters whirring could be heard from afar following the sound of the sirens wailing. at the new information discovered luther suggested, "we have to find her."
diego standing up, he informed them, "we gotta go, now."
