"I feel like I need to translate the lyrics for you first." Ellie warned Hoshi, who had blindly agreed to learn the choreography with her. "I think I can generally infer from the nature of the dance," he said with his eyebrows raised.
"It's somehow worse," she chuckled. "Come on, it can't be that bad," he rolled his eyes. Ellie sighed, translating each line for the older male. Eventually, he was just staring off into the distance. With a slow blink, he spoke up again, "Well, I can feign ignorance. You can't."
"What do you mean?" "The fans will know for sure how much of a freak you are for wanting to do this. They'll probably just think I have no idea what they're saying," he explained.
"Oh sure. 'No clue what it means' as you hump the air 11 times," she chuckled. "Whatever," Hoshi mumbled, shoving her shoulder.
The two eventually got to work, learning the steps to film their video. It was a relatively short clip, so they had it down in under an hour. They incorporated parts that they felt worked better for them and the vibe they were trying to achieve.
"I commend your bravery," Juyeon applauded. "What do you mean?" Ellie asked, turning to the 4 members who had come to observe for fun.
"This song is racy as fuck, I can only imagine what the dance is," the rapper explained. Ellie stifled a laugh, knowing the following performance would elicit a much more dramatic reaction.
"Coups is probably going to kill you," Woozi said, patting Hoshi's shoulder. "She's not actually his child," he rolled his eyes. "Tell him that!" Ellie begged.
Once they hit start on their recording, the two got into their zone, and made sure to execute their steps with precision and accuracy. They barely had time to notice the members' expressions amidst the fast paced choreography.
As the music came to an end, Ellie stumbled forward into Hoshi's arms. He quickly stabilised her, wrapping an arm around her waist and chuckling at her.
"How was it?" Ellie asked the "fans" sat in front of her. "Ipdeok.." Wonwoo muttered out.
"I feel like I'm intruding on something," Minnie said with a small gulp. The two dancers raised their eyebrows at their members. "You guys just don't get the image," Hoshi replied.
Elaine chuckled as the two sat down to monitor the video and spot out any mistakes. "I feel like we should remake this," she sighed.
"How come? I think it looks great," Hoshi questioned.
To this, Ellie simply pointed out how close together the two were. "There's not much you didn't touch in this."
Hoshi chuckled. "Well that's the dance. Plus, we didn't even do the whole choreography."
"You're the leader, blame is on you if anything goes wrong," Ellie teased.
No one had any sort of problem with the video. And even if they did, they were still too entranced to leave a hateful comment.
