The two girls had gotten relatively drunk at this point. They were about an hour into filming.
"Unnie can I ask you something?" "Yeah?"
"Are you dating anyone?" Young Ji asked. Ellie shook her head. "Not right now. I wish."
"Sorry, what I meant was: I am loyal to my girlfriend," Ellie corrected as Young Ji looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Well, how do you write the lyrics for your love songs then? Like in 'Love Hangover,' did you just pretend to know what you were talking about?"
"I said I wasn't dating right now, that doesn't mean I haven't ever," Ellie teased, wiggling her eyebrows. "Ah, shut up. I'm scared you'll expose something you aren't meant to," Young Ji chortled.
"I had another request for you, though."
"You're really good at writing lyrics and making songs; I wanted to ask if you could make us an intro song," Young Ji spoke, finishing the rest of her shot. Ellie nodded pulling out her phone and opening her mixing app. "Oh, you're doing it now?" Young Ji gasped.
The elder hummed out a tune, making a simple beat and thinking up funny lyrics. She then pressed play on the short audio clip and sang over it. "How is it?"
"Did you have this prepared from before?"
Ellie shook her head, "I just made it right now. I promise!" She assured the suspicious staff. "Wow, you're incredible. Please send this to me so I can actually use it."
"I'll be so touched if you genuinely use it." "Oh don't worry, we will."
"Did we stop playing the English song? Because I just said two words," Ellie chuckled, "and so did you," she pointed out, noting that Young Ji had said 'Love Hangover.'
The two interlocked their arms and downed two shots each, already pretty wasted. "We might as well start drinking directly from the bottle now," Ellie shivered as she felt the alcohol go down her throat.
"Well before we end, you have to teach me your new dance."
The two stepped out of the sitting area and Ellie guided Young Ji through the chorus' steps. "Sure, that's close enough," the elder shrugged, making both Young Ji and the staff chuckle.
"Wow babe, you don't have any faith in me?" "No no, it's just cause you're drunk, honey," Ellie jokingly assured.
Once the two had filmed the video, which ended with the camera zooming in on the two's matching rings, they sat back down on the table.
Ellie emptied her glass of sake and finished the few noodles that were left in her bowl. "I don't want to go home yet," she complained. "You can stay as long as you want babe."
"It's 11 pm," the staff informed, making Ellie stand up as if programmed. "Wow, they were right about you being an AI. That was so robotic," Young Ji chuckled, but could barely lift her head.
"Thank you everyone for taking care of me," Ellie bowed, almost leaving behind her phone as she hurried out the door, too drunk to be formal.
"Well everybody, thank you for watching this episode of 'Nothing Prepared.' I don't even remember what happened, but I hope you enjoyed it," Young Ji slurred out, still partially slumped on the table.
